Well, I think in english is suposed to be blahblahblah, and is just a figurative way of saying "the speach should have been longer".

Area no Kishi is funny in the way that it focus on male football, but fem football is way more flashy and unbelievable.

Oh, well, I like to talk with people who actually bother to coment my reviews n_n. Overcoming weakness and adversity is the main focus of practically all the sports anime, when they're starred by teens (with grown ups is differents, like in Giant Killing). Usually, there's some silly romance aspect, but is way to secondary. Like I already said, I found it in Area no Kishi to be bigger than in most football animes, but not as central as in any romantic comedy.
As far as I know, the second season wasn't anounced. Sports anime usually don't have much luck in that department ;_; but, who knows, maybe this one will have higd BD sales.

Thx for taking your time to read my review. It means a lot to me and blablablabla now to busines:
Area no Kishi is a decent anime. I liked it. Yet, it has the problem thata most sport anime have: it ends abruptly. Yet, you don't know that, since you are in the first eps, but hey, now you know :P.
About the relaitionship development, well, I think is bigger than in more football animes I watched, like Captain Tsubasa, Gianta Killing or Goal Field Hunter. In those, the game was everything. In AnK, Kakeru/Seven realationship is like... slowly growing from friends to more than friends. This is no romance anime, so thats like a side story. More important than in the animes I already mentioned, but less centric than in any romantic comedy. Is like, in the middle.

Your second point: I know. You only watched 12 eps, so I don't know if you actually watched the ep in were that happens... but it was over the top, specially since, well, she do it while talking on a friking cell phone. Remember, she's a tiny 15 years all girl, and she perform tricks that make the Tachibana's skylab twinshot look feasible.

Again, AnK was nice. Not the best on the pack, but not bad. Yet, I feel that the romantic comedy part was exploited better in Aoki Densetsu Shoot (another football anime. That way, the comparision is mor fair n_n)

Noiein shares the same use of quantum physics to tell its story. Between that and Steins;Gate, do you admit Noein did a far better job in making it more believable?

Yes, I have played the Steins;Gate VN. The translation is coming along very well and will be done soon, but I played it untranslated.

If you are looking for a VN to play, you really should start with something along the lines of Fate/stay night or G-Senjou no Maou. Most VNs do have H-Scenes, so just a heads-up in case you're underage. ;)

Nice work on the Steins;Gate review, eh? Have you read the VN?

Also, thanks for linking my blog before. Glad you found it helpful.

Yeah. It is dialogue heavy but I loved it nonetheless. It did not have as much romance as I would of liked, but I still liked it. I really love the OP as well. Hopefully you enjoy it.

You've kind of watched most of the good ones, so its hard to recommend ones that will beat them, but Nodame Cantabile is a good one, Ef- A tale of Melodies and Ef- a tale of memories, and Honey and Clover...all anime. If I can think of anymore I'll post them. But these four are pretty great in my opinion.

Alright, will do, but I doubt I'll be reading it anytime soon.

About your Steins Gate review

“the plot has been very captivating with touches of light moments. There is a good balance to keep the viewer entertained”

Are you sure it is not MOSTLY light moments and not balanced at all? All they do is make otaku jokes and for a few minutes they do time alterations that are hardly done believably.

Tu tu ruu~
Great review for Steins Gate, I feel as if I was the one who wrote the review because you delivered my thoughts exactly and the fact that you couldn't help yourself but write tu tu ruu at the end XD.
It’s time to ditch the text file.
