| An unfortunate fate for Flat Top and his sister but you can't just turn a new leaf that easy after being involved in the underworld. Chihiro vs Sojo already, should be a good fight. |

| Great chapter setting up the villain and his powers. His psychological torture is great and how he killed the daruma guy was ice cold. Also the color page was amazing. This really was the complete package. |

| Ok this chapter is actually winning me over pretty hard, I love the subversion of setting up this big arc with a time limit of when chihiro needs to get stronger cause hes no match for the bad guy, only for that dude to just walk through the fucking door presumably minutes after learning all this info. I also just like how brutal he was and the paenling around how they showed it with the subordinates. If anything my worry now is this Soji guy might be a little too good to be a one off starter villain and it'l be a waste to waste him too early. |

| They really went last chapter like we need to prepare and they facing the villain in this one, Also sad for the Daruma guy. I was hopeful that he'd become a good guy and join Chihiro but :( Sota is a pretty despicable guy, The fight scenes in this manga are done really well tbh. Clean and smooth. |

| RIP Norisaku Madoka. He was inspired by Shiba to change his life, but in the end, his life was abruptly ended by Soujou. Too bad his sister was involved in Soujou's "punishment" as well. :( Those last pages were epic. Enchanted katana vs. Enchanted katana, and Chihiro challenging what he was told about himself earlier, about how he wasn't ready to fight someone like Soujou. Speaking about Soujou, I didn't expect him to not only act so fast, but more importantly to go to face Chihiro right away, solo, personally. It was a nice writing gimmick to pretend as if we had a training arc of some sort incoming, or any other less action-centered preparation for a big arc, only to positively subvert the expectations and rush towards the duel between Soujou and Chihiro. Peak moment. |

| Now I almost feel bad for that daruma guy. Man thought he could start over but met the most unfortunate end.. with his family at that. Sojo really does seem menacing, and I mean he has a habit of welcoming himself anywhere, just like that lol. Not sure if Chihiro could handle this, and in all honesty, I'd be glad if he couldn't. |

| This was an absolute banger of a chapter. Sojo's villain intro was master class. Very glad now that I didn't wait any longer to start up on Kagurabachi. |
