There's the time to beat with competition being sky high among the competitors. Yotsuba definitely neede that hug though. She was about to snap until Nonoka embraced her. Tense episode. |

| Nonoka and Sayo chin were were reakky getting along I really like this guy he's so funny  He has the same glasses as my bossAll the anime and this very specific episode reminded me when I tried to climb a tree last year, my necktie got stuck in a branch and while trying to take it out I received a lemon on my head, this made me fall down and go to hospital for 2 weeks... Now that we are close to the ending I really think that Konomi thinks too much about video games, I know this is only a story but this is a bad example, she should work more. I forbid my gaughter to play any electronic devices, she had very good results in school. Electronical device caused her demise anyway since she died because of a respirator malfunction, cheh is the only thing I can say... Also I hate crabs I hate hteir way of pinching me for no reason, this really pisses me off and I wanted to say it, I want to smash my keyboard, f*ck crabs |

| Great episode! Sad that sayo can’t participate in the event, but sitting out one event is better than losing your whole career. It’s been a joy to watch Konomi and Jun’s development this season. Too bad it’s about to end :( gonna really miss watching this one. |

| Konomi has finally beaten the 15 seconds of speed climbing thanks to an inspiration called Mimu-chan. They actually get along not unlike the (so annoying) Anne of the same school. And after all the buildup of the past couple of weeks, we're now at the last tournament to see if Hanamiya will become the top Japanese school on sports climbing. Too bad Sayo is not going to participate due to her own arrogance to climb, atleast she and Kiku will be cheering. And it seems that our Hanamiya girls are doing very great on boulder climbing. Next week, the last episode of the show (get your reviews ready). Seems like the last episode will be on speed climbing and the payoff of the tournament. Let's see if Konomi, Jun and Nono can truly climb To The Top of the championship. |

| Well her time improved but it still doesn't seem to be enough, let's hope the rest of the tournament goes well for the girls tho. And Konomi has more members in her teams so there is still hope. It's funny how everything comes back to a game. |

| Konomi improved her timing is speed climbing and its thanks to Mimu. Tho her teammate Anne is really annoying. With one episode to go, I hope Hanamiya wins. |

I’m still waiting for the after bath (?) scene that they show in the ending. If there isn’t a scene like this, I’m going to feel betrayed. Also, COOL KURUSU IS BACK! |

| Can't help but think it was rushed as well... monthly time skips again. Now the whole final competition will take place in a short episode, after the first part already happened. This is seriously the major problem of this show : it explains decently the basics of bouldering, speeding, etc, no issue about understanding the concepts but shit, the 'examples' or 'illustrations' are just poor. I'd honestly like to have an entire episode focussed on the whole competition, with possibily an emotional implication. But sadly it won't happen with the current pace. |

| Nonoka is one of those girls that are not understandable when they cry XD Ofcourse Kurusu is a girl who looks unbeatable, next to the others of the same school. But I am sure Hanamiya will get either really close, or beat them by the power of Konomi. |

And I'd go to say that plot device character Takahashi Mimu carries another source of motivation, with similar connections in rhythm that helps Konomi see the difference and act accordingly...that is until she realises that she is from the annoying catgirl Kurusu's school, WELP, another wall to break through. A sub-15 second mark, that's a definite improvement for Konomi, but reaching the pro levels of 12 seconds, she's still far from ideal. The only person left in the Hanamiya Girls' team left is the injured Sayo, but her arrogance in seeing both Jun and Konomi's improvement caved her in, and if not for Nono's persistence in stopping her from injuring herself further, she could've been dead meat. So, it's the 3-girl team holding the team altogether for the final competition, and so far so good for the usual gang of friends and rivals. Just hold on a little longer Konomi, you'll get there. |

| Dang! What a speedy episode. I am almost falling out the focus seeing every part changed at such fast pace, one by one. Its really like the themed of these current climbing section, honestly. Speeding up the wall climb to the top of the series, in a crazy attempt, without any rest! To make it short, i am gonna make my comment as fast as possible: Ta ta tan tan~ Konomin succeeded to finishing her own rhythm, and mastering technique at the speed climbing section. Such a nice way to resolved the problem. Once again, its about the game! The camp part was over after Konomin received her good lesson. Then the next part, to announced the tournament first day. Sayo really couldn't participating the tournament, which was making me a little sad. The three members team ready to rock the venue! Its actually started, very fast, one frame, one girl. The first day of the battle finished in such a nice way. The girls finished the bouldering section ellegantly, and finished at the first place as a team. However, the real deal was the speed section. Kurusu team already succeeded there at the other side of block. While Konomin? Still trying her best to surpassed both of them. Yeah, the last one must be a fast track as hell again. I must be prepared! |

| with how it is going, i would say im pretty pleased with iwa kakeru! it may not have been the best representation of rock climbing(where they actually climb), it shows aspects of the things that happen behind the walls. these characters had me looking forward to iwa kakeru! every week. i'll be sad if this doesn't get a season 2 or at least an ova lets hope they have enough funding and content for it. i certainly wouldn't mind an ao too |
| Damn, they're going to finish the competition in an episode aren't they. Just when I am starting to really like the show, a season 2 is unlikely but, a man can dream. Lmao when Nonoka started talking gibberish when she was crying, that was a really nice moment between Sayo and Nono though, it's sad that Sayo won't be able to compete with them on her last year. Looking forward to the next episode. |

| Well this sux, Sayo's not in the tournament this time. So in the end we never got to see how strong Sayo is, we've been hearing that's she's one of the top climbers and that's it sigh. |

| Mimu was an angel and finally a "healthy" rival, shame about Sayo but Nono as there to stop her from doing something that she could regret her whole life, one more episode left. |

| The girls are screwed, aren't they? With Sayo in the team, there was at least a slight chance of winning against Kokureikan but now that she's out, I can't see Hanamiya reaching first place anymore. By the way, Sayo sure ended up taking the short end of the stick during this series' runtime, uh? For someone who is considered to be among the very best in the discipline, we never got to see her at her 100% and that's honestly a real shame. | A little surprised that the captain's injury hasn't healed after six months. She should be a bit worried... Glad she didn't participate in the competition, but it's a shame we have to go through an excessive melodrama with Nono screaming (and her friends don't hear, weirdly) Overall the storytelling is awful, everything seems to be going too fast. It's hard to have an interest in what's going on there. |

| The gamefication of the speedclimbing really did wonders for Konomi. Still a bit slower than the cool Kurusu and Mimu, time for Konomi to utilize her secret weapon: Overclocking her processor |
