Grats on 22/7 on their first anniversary. It's an important milestone imo. They deserved the vacation rewards like the spa if you ask me. Good God, those are some S-tier food

However, given this is a show with drama, I'm also not surprised that we are focused on another character...Ayaka this week. Good thing she has a new family now.

after the all tear-jerker strike episode, this episode is kind of normal? or weak? but well, seeing a smol Ayaka childish, a mature Ayaka and a mature Ayaka ending song is good

Not everyone has to have a sob story, but I feel like they should've done more with Ayaka's mangaka side job character. Quite disappointing since she was my favorite of the group.

Can't believe it's already been a year for the girls being together! Wow, time flies. Guys are already fawning over them.

Ayaka's character episode is one I've been waiting on for a while now. She was like the most mysterious character for me so I was looking forward to her getting some development, but this episode left me feeling kind of disappointed. Her Mangaka aspirations felt underdeveloped and really the only thing of note was her getting water poured on her in the toilet, which felt pretty forced. Would have been nice to see a little more that actually connected.

Ryokan bonding part of the episode was really fun to watch unfold as well. Overall, really fun and relaxing episode. Nothing particularly big, but it was fun!

What's really got me interested is the letter that the wall produced at the end. What was it that's got the girls so upset? Next week can't come fast enough.

As the series winds down, it's sad to see how underrated and underwatched this is. I know MAL and Reddit aren't the mainstream anime community, but man I wish this series got more love/talked about more. It's a pretty fresh take on the Idol genre with a unique concept of the wall and a more realistic/darker tone. Some beautiful art and animation as well.

See y'all next week!

The Tachikawa siblings have some strong sibling love.

That order at the end. I hope they don't get disband.

Did you end the episode a few seconds too early? It said "DISBAND".

Super predictable but still confusing. Why spend a year getting popular just to disband? I think it's a test. I think the Wall is trying to test their devotion to being idols or something along those lines.

Who would think that opening spoiled the plot. Yep, that never happened before.
Also just about the time. Looking forward how they're gonna deal with the twist. Or not.

Came later than past few weeks but still a fun episode.

Was great to see a more calmer background than the ones we were getting. Both are good, but it was something different, which was great to see.

wow so the most boring idol in the group had the most boring backstory as well (actually I can't even remember Mio's one so there's that). But hey at least it felt the most natural out of them all especially compared to Akane's one lmao.

and that ending, the wall is just trolling at this point lul

DISBAND. Just DISBAND. What are our girls gonna do? Listen to it or for the first time don't follow the instructions?

I hate that the wall is not wrong with his command. Although a year is a little bit too short for an idol group, each idol group will end one day. Over time, people want to see something new ... at some point it just doesn't work anymore.

The AI wall calculates the optimal course of an idol group, which ends very early with a DISBAND. With the help of the AI, the girls have only got this far, but whether you have to listen to the AI in all matters is still in our own hands. One day in the near future (I'm sure of it) it won't be that way anymore.

She's a lowkey savage and is obviously the most well put together out of the group. Too bad those flew above your head.

Theory about what you ask? Why The Wall want to disband them or what kind of drama in the next episode?

If you ask about the next episode... i think i have some. But before that, let's watch this episode again but in Miu's perspective. And we have...
1. Miu cheers herself a little in her apartment.
2. Small talk with Ayaka in train.
3. Her thought in Ofuro.
4. Small talk with Ayaka in the bridge.
5. Her thought in The Wall Room.
... and BAM! The Wall slap her and the girls with an iron plate.

So there you go... the next one, Miu will be the main focus. While she get used to her work and began to thrust the adult, The Wall reminds her that we are an asshole, lol.

OR...

Why does the Wall want to disband the group? Maybe The Wall want to test the group what would they do if they break-up. Will the girls protest? or just accept the order? I mean... as CEO (I think the wall is the CEO, lol) the girls give you a lot of profit, why you just throw it away. That doesn't make any sense.

Although, the word "Disband" is too ambiguous to me. It can mean the group didn't exist anymore but the girls still work as an individual, or The Wall fired the girls, or shutdown the GIP, or else.

So... all of this prattle are my theory. I hope everything i say is wrong. lol. Can't wait for the next episode.
Yay!

LOLZ i quite guessed what that next order of KABE, the hint is because of the girls same reaction, what i guessed was to quit, which is quite similar to disband!
what a seductive ED by Ayaka Tachikawa.
5/5.

IMO The Wall ordered them to disband to end their reliance on its orders. By following every order of the Wall they became popular so now they believe that they just need to follow its orders to ensure success as evident by their convo this episode. Instead of believing in themselves and their talent, they are believing in the power of the Wall.

They will disband and then come together again on their own as shown in the OP as well. Lots of annnnnngst incominggg......

Regret putting a high expectation on Ayaka's episode due to being a mysterious person.

Looks like Jun's episode had set the bar too high for the rest of the show.

My current character episode ranking so far:
Jun>Miu>Miyako>Ayaka>Akane>Sakura>>>Reika

Are we going to see Nicole shows her true feeling regarding the group and try her best to gather everyone back? Let's see how the next 3 episodes play out.
Truth is absolute but human perception of truth is always relative.

It's been a ride for the girls of 22/7 as they approach their 1st year anniversary.

Apparently not. First time this happened though.

But getting to the core, it's Ayaka's episode. Getting sibling rivalry in the family doesn't equate to mysterious circumstances like the rest of the girls we've seen up to this point. Her obscurity coming from nothing more than the ingenuity of life and proceeding straight to the outside world doing mangaka work (and eventually the invitation). It's just sad that she isn't developed further than that, somehow lesser than the dreaming robot Akane last episode, only full of lullabies of stars.

YEA...probably thinking over our heads that each character is uniquely theirs, but apparently not.

One plus point, Ayaka's seductive ED.

And the Wall descends on 22/7 to...disband??? The Wall's Orders haven't been defied yet...but HOW will they get across this hurdle?

UGH THAT WAS SOOO PREDICTABLE... as soon as they got an order i was like "Its gonna say Disband." I wasnt even shocked or anything since it was so predictable. The ep was good as always but that ending. :/ I wish they'd stop doing unnecessary drama for shock value or whatever

Now i remember the reason as i forgot almost everything about Ayaka's episode apart from her making up with her sisters at the playground. Bathroom bullying (GTO flashbacks) was something i wanted to wipe out from memory, but the rest (especially her mangaka ambitions) was sort of under developed... and it's a shame because i liked her too a lot since day one despite the heavy competition. For what it's worth, i still enjoyed how she started a beloved childhood song to make the rest of 22/7 stop arguing for futile reasons during the vacation reward.

Damn... no. "Disband"? Now? i thought it was the next episode. Saito didn't even have her focus episode yet. In just twenty minutes, it went from Miu and Ayaka applying useless masks to avoid fans in public still easily able to recognize them, to... having the need to explain the bad news.
(save your time and don't try to comfort when i rant on casual discussion or forum games, feel free to ignore me, i won't take it personally)
