| Well, despite my rant after episode 2, I've got to admit this show really improved. It has risen from being clearly the worst one I've ever seen to entering the group of the ones I find bad. While the "slime" episode was kind of funny, and I like Kohaku, the main storyline still is damn generic. And consistency is still off way to much. So Touya comes up with such a clever scheme to help Lyon-san find the right present, and yet, he is too dense to recognize that he's got a harem all around him? Beats me! Anyway, is it just me imagining or has the series taken a turn from renderring Touya as totally OP to actually showing some of his flaws (like not being the boss, being pre-puberty with all the romantic stuff and so on)? It's still hard to find this funny with all the convenience going on, but if that were to stop, it would actually get a lot more watchable. |
| @talentlessash: And now you have me spoiling another story on top of what I've already spoiled. Hiiro from Word Master is also an OP MC, but even his magical power has limits. I'm guessing Touya has the same limitations when it comes to combining multiple spells. Using one spell multiple times is easy, as is it for Hiiro. It's when he uses multiple at once that it gets more powerful, time consuming, and difficult to control; so even Touya is vulnerable. I know this anime doesn't make it clear, but Touya is aware of his weaknesses. He wields a weapon and learns new spells to cover them. Magic is usually a long range weapon, so he can't rely on magic alone if he has to fight in close range. How I see it, he could have used Gate to evade the dragon's flames, but he didn't, so you can't say he "[warps] around like it's nothing." You can't expect him to use just any spell whenever he wants. It was explained it a previous episode that visualization is needed to successfully cast a spell. We never see him fail because he chooses the right time to use his spells. As for running out of mana, he holds back on the number of spells he uses by ending the fight with as few spells as possible. This also ends the battle quickly in the process, so if all his fights never drag out, who can say "he never gets tire from using his magic?" We'll never know unless he abuses it in battle; however, because he always leans on the girls for support, it's possible we may never see him run out of mana with them always by his side. |

You can't expect dudes to know the feelings of chicks. If every MC in a harem did, viewers would question how they know. Only way I can think is the dude was a chick in his past life and knew the struggles of loving someone dense. Of course, it would be ironic if they still didn't notice themselves.I am completely dumbfounded at why ... they even bothered with having him notice the knight guy was into the girl when he isn't even aware of the girls around him. Contradicts his character and just makes me facepalm... |

Okay, okay. People have their own opinions and speculations. But for me, I'm still standing strong for a good romantic development to come. You can't judge an Anime with 6 Episodes or even a full season. You never know when the Authors get an epiphany about the Character Relationships and decide to go ham on the Romance Plots. Yeah, I learned that from experience. I REALLY HOPE! that you are right, because that would be amazing! |

| God damn, that boy is so dense. Enjoyable episode though, this series is surprisingly getting more and more entertaining as it progresses for me. Although it's still far from high quality entertainment. Still waiting for that last apparent harem member to show up. She's taking her time. |

| Eh, people are simply having very wrong expectations for this. It seems like a lot of the people here are for some reason expecting a more serious isekai series like Re:Zero or Grimgar and then getting disappointed, while what we have is essentially KonoSuba with actually competent characters. |

There are established polygamy settings where the MCs marries all the girls in the truest sense. Might I recommend you to read Mushoku Tensei, Sevens and Hachinan tte Sore wa nai desshou. Best one is still Mushoku Tensei I guess, where the plot continues even after marriage. Oh btw, I heard from LN forums and some sites that this Isekai Smartphone is also one of the few that has real polygamy genre as well and not just mere harems. Hence why we don't see any main or true heroine in this series so far. So expect them all to get married in the near future with every wives getting equal standings. |

| why does it have just 12EP it should be 20-26 at least unless its cause the manga/novel is also 2new & it doesn't have that much materiel left in its current state "Oh no, the tickler is here." | He's now living in a mansion with his harem whom he claims to all like equally, and they're all ecstatic about it and are willing to share him. Hell, he even has a personal staff to service him. And this is episode 6. This was a fairly harmless isekai anime at first, doing nothing in particular to stand out aside from healing the blind, but I...I don't even know how to respond to this. Can this MC get any more perfect? Is he going to ascend to godhood next? Oh, wait, he scanned the area with his phone and sniped them from on high. He's certainly on his way if these developments continue as they are. Now, since I'm feeling petty, how did his phone find "bandits?" What parameter defined "bandits" for his phone to find? If his phone is capable of categorizing people based on superficial traits, then holy hell this has crazy implications. As a note, I don't dislike this anime. Rather, it's enjoyable through its absurdity, but I can't believe someone actually wrote this. Or, rather, people were paid to make this. It's a miraculous existence for its complete lack of ambition. |

| Girls have some kind of plan of living together, hm?.. ;P So human might be liking half-human?.. I wonder, how often it in this world?.. Touya become dense protagonist, I guess.. Well.. Don't know, how I feel about it.. Maybe it's a bit "eh, man, what are you doing?.." On the other hand, as marriages with many girls are in norm in this world.. He can take his time building relationships with girls.. As long as they are alright with that.. So far they'd want more, but still kinda ok with him just being kind to them.. But yeah.. Maybe some more romance would be nice.. Well.. From one hand, poor dragon.. From other, he probably killed many villagers himself.. And as dragon said himself - he did it just for fun.. It's a strange tradition between some younger dragons, really.. To randomly attack villages just for fun.. I have a feeling that Yumina just actually cheats with her special sight to win in rock-paper-scissors.. Oh well, other girls will have their sweet time with Touya as well, probably.. Well, some more of my thoughts on harem becoming a thing.. From one hand, it's good that girls actually started to more actively seek Touya as a romantic partner.. Previously they were like him - just content with companions role.. But Yumina's appearance with strong goal to become Touya's bride made them think more about Touya as a man as well.. And he himself.. He is from another world.. He is 16, as he says.. And it's normal, if you don't necessary think too much about such things as marriage at this age.. But, returning.. From one side, it's sweet that girls started to look at him as a romantic partner, a man.. From other side, Touya is still not there.. And maybe he won't be?.. Don't know, will see, how it goes, and how I'll feel about it.. |
