| Loved it. This is the pinnacle of 2016 anime. Nothing else will beat it. Not even Haikyuu or BSD2. Jokes aside, I wasn't too happy about the fact that they didn't use the original seiyuu's voice and got rid of the obscene voice quality like the ones from the game (like mouth too close/far to the mic etc.). It loses the "Handsomeness" by 5%. And who's route will the MC get in the anime? I can't wait! |

I was really looking forward to that because that legendary voice acting totally added to the experience. These voice actors are good, but... that's the problem lol. It was pretty sad having Takuya introduce himself while saying 'ore' properly; it's like one of his 'charms' were lost. Though, these new voice actors are doing a good enough job with, uh, this. Also, kind of disappointed that the main character got a default name. Now they can't screw around with his lack of a name like they did in the game with the voice actors making random sounds to fill in for the name XD That was possibly the game's best feature. |
| @Aines445 Really? Or are you referring to another adaptation (some sort of ova) that was made last year? But nonetheless, that news makes me have more faith towards Gakuen Handsome anime. To be honest, I didn't really mind GakuHan having a different seiyuu cast to the game, but the fact that the voice quality was professional loses the essence. It's not Gakuen Handsome enough if you can't hear audible nonsensical mutterings and loud breaths. I really agree with you, I was highly anticipating the "uhhh-kun" until I saw the first 5 seconds of ep 1, where the MC declares his name. Now that joke won't be appearing anymore. You know what I really want in this anime? Takuya obsessing over Caloriemate and that forever-famous chin stabbing scene by Sakuya. You have one more chance with me, GakuHan anime. |

You have one more chance with me, GakuHan anime. https://myanimelist.net/news/47092299 I mean, unless that was a lie, I thought there was also gonna be a version with the original voices ^^' Yeah, the voice acting is good (and I actually don't mind it much either), but that's just the problem, since the quality of the original voices sort of amplified the experience, like when they'd scream really loud all of a sudden, or the great amounts of unnecessary echo, or how fast Sakuya would talk, or when they'd include the voice actors screwing up the line in-game (or Shiga's voice actor snickering at his own lines omg)... The list just goes on. Meanwhile, with the new voices, it's clean of these issues, though they are doing a solid job. It doesn't quite feel like the full Gakuen Handsome experience. I was actually surprised there was no mention of caloriemate in the OVA, for example, when it came to Takuya; definitely hoping for that here (also just hoping Kakihara Tetsuya just screams out some line of dialogue for no reason like in the game, I need that in my life XD). I mean, this is gonna be a straight adaptation of the game, right? Though, I'm not really sure what paths exactly will be animated. Also, I wonder if the animation quality's gonna be consistently bad. If there was something purposefully irritating about the game, it was the inconsistency in the art's quality, like how at very precise times, the guys would actually look good. I'm also gonna continue watching, so I hope it'll be worth it as well. Man, I'm really gonna miss he guys saying gibberish every time they were mentioning the main character, I gotta go back to the game again ^^ |
| The fall anime season lineup is super weak, but this right here, this masterpiece might just save it. I don't know why this isn't the best rated anime. |

| It's like watching the shitty flash animation of a 12,9-year-old deviantart user who's just gotten their hands on one of those terribad 'Learn to draw Anime!' books and a copy of a shitty BL manga they pulled out of a bargain bin in a goodwill store. Whoever the hell thought making the whole production look terrible on purpose is a mad genius and I want to hug them. I haven't laughed this hard since Sakamoto actually went to America to become an astronaut. 10/10, best comedy anime of the season. Will spread this cancer to as many of my friends as I can. <3 |

| I love how this is intentionally awful but is still better than half of the high school romance visual novels out there. It legit reminds me of Kusoge, which we also need an anime adaptation of ofc They stayed authentic with this one...Maeda didn't even have any eyes, my god. It's like they made an anime out of that one MS Paint version of the opening to Gintama XD Also I can't be the only one who thought the dude at the end looked like France from Hetalia. |

| I bet most of the people who hated it probably didn't understand that it was a parody. That or they liked yaoi. I personally found it pretty funny because I generally dislike most yaoi and Gakuen Handsome makes fun of the most basic yaoi cliches lmao. |

| Didn't even know that it was adapted from a yaoi game until I read it here. Are pointy chins the dude's equivalent to freakishly large shoujo girl eyes? xD The art style's cheap af and I guess that I'll have to get some time to get used to this lol. Sudden BL sensei moment made me laugh a little tho. |
