| I think we can all agree that Tsubaki is more deserving of Kousei than Kaori. Tsubaki has always been there for him and she never forced him to do shit unlike Kaori who's getting him back on playing piano just so that when she dies, which is probably soon, she can say that she's done something meaningful albeit through horrid means. Fuck why am I even feeling this way because of this stupid teenage romance. I'm way too old for this. |

| Tsubaki, Kousei's childhood friend. For so long she thought of Kousei as her younger brother. It all changed the moment she wanted to bring happiness back to him. Now that he is free from the shackles that held him back, he matured. And thanks to Kaori's guides, he looked at Kaori more than to Tsubaki. After all of this happened, only then did Tsubaki realized that she had feelings for Kousei. But damn it's too late for you, childhood friend... Especially now that he's thinking to go to a music high school. [u]Expected Ending:[/b]
Seems like there's 2 possible ending now from how it seems. But seeing that Kaori is this sick, I'm guessing it'll be the Alone/No romance ending. |

| I'm surprised that after all of this time Kousei doesn't even have her phone number. Yeah... Probably not the best idea to bring her sweets. She probably has a pretty high bar. I don't buy her saying that she just hit her head. I really don't buy it. Aww... Kousei read that book. Yeah, she needed an IV drip. It wasn't just her hitting her head. It's pretty obvious that the actual person Tsubaki has a crush on is Kousei. I hope this show doesn't turn into Tsubaki getting cucked or something (more than it already has, at least). She looks good in that yukata. Wonder how Kaori knew the significance behind that piece for Kousei. Unfortunately, Kousei, I really do think she was lying about those tests. Was I that petty as a child to be proud of something like a perfect mudball? Probably. Watari has a surprisingly mature outlook on romance. Go figure. These middle school kids are already expected to know what they want to do for the rest of your life? That's fucking terrifying. I barely knew until my last year of high school. What the fuck is a milk-flavored popsicle? Her going into his footsteps was so cute! I can feel her sorrow about Kousei leaving her, but it's probably for the best. This is a big step for Kousei, after all. |

| Kaori intentionally hides her true condition from her friends, especially Arima. I have a bad feeling about this. Tsubaki eventually realizes that she is in love with Arima when he is about to go away. Poor girl. By the way, little Tsubaki is actually so adorable. |

| -Tsubaki during the first episodes: I want Kousei to play piano again. -Tsubaki now: The piano always takes Kousei away from me. Oh boy, the forced comedy and Tsubaki's one-sided love are such a pain to watch. And it seems it's not even over yet... Please, can't we just return to the "Don't leave me like my mother did or my soul will be totally destroyed" storyline? |
| It's like with each passing episode, the new ED song weighs heavier and heavier on the heart. Kaori is obviously lying about how good her condition is. A lot of the things she says also hint at how this is probably going to end. "I don't have time for all of this [books]", why don't you? "I wish I could play with you [Kousei] again", why wouldn't you be able to? That thought gets heavier and heavier on my mind every episode. She looks paler too, or is it just my imagination? This episode though primarily focused on Tsubaki. And at this point, I think she's finally realised her feelings. I don't think they'll be returned, at least in the near future. But it's better to out with it that to have regrets. Just 8 more episodes, but I don't know how much longer I can watch this. I don't think I'm ready for the inevitable. |

| Well, there's your typical romance anime with a love triangle. Always hate to see it because it's sad af, but I also can't hate it. Poor Tsubaki. Guess she found out the truth the hard way. At least now you can realize that you love Kousei. Human emotions are a curse. |

| This anime doesn't have a single likeable, relatable character. And Toradora syndrome where for some inexplicable reason nobody will talk to eachother about whats bothering them. I know they are teenagers and Kousei's behaviour is the most understandable since he grew up with an abusive parent and seemingly no father but just because its understandable doesn't mean its good or neccessary to include in a story. |

| Ya know, I don't really know what to think in the realm of Tsubaki liking Kousei romantically. I think if anything, it's that she's coming to grips with the fact that he's changed as a person - he's independent, he's not someone who doesn't know about the world anymore. I don't know... |

| I'm not sure if it's because I'm watching the English dub, but Tsubaki comes off as very difficult to sympathize with I understand that she's exploring her feelings for Kousei, but it seems like all she cares about is keeping Kousei for herself |

| This Tsubaki is infuriating and simultaneously pitiful. She is in a lose-lose situation, dating her sempai she has a long-time crush on but the relationship is stagnant. Then, she is falling for Arima. Trainwreck. Even Emi is better because she too is an artist who can understand Arima better but she's cute too. |
