| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This was great. Even the moments when both team pauses shows just how tense and focused they are. The pitches were animated well too to show how well they are thrown for both sides. I think they are figuring out a bit of Mei's playing tactics though but I still think it's a long way to go before victory. And speaking of which, the guy is hitting quite well so this match could last for quite a bit. A lot of really nice plays :D |

| Sawamura all worked up ^^ Mei's way of conserving energy and only going all out on Yuki! Both sides are really pitching well but Furuya gave two runs at the end. That Carlos with that speed :O The pitching battles against the clean up! I knew they did show Ryo's injury before the match for nothing :O Didn't thought it would happen in such a situation :/ Tanba going out to pitch! The others also warming up too. Furuya managing to hit it! Mei better not take the other Seido batters lightly! |

| What a nerve-wracking episode :-( Well, every ep will probably be nerve-wracking. Hang in there Seidoooo! More importantly, hang in there Ryo-san ;v;;; I want Harucchi to sub for him but I also don't want Ryo to be subbed out... ugh. |

| This episode was so tense. Aside for the funny moments with Sawamura's comments and MVP! MVP! MVP! this episode was one of the most tense of all. I don't like Furuya that much but he did fight well against Inashiro batters. And oh that long hit that he made at the end is so important right now, not only because he gave up 2 runs but maybe it'll boost the morale with the Seido team. They really need it after Yuki captain was struck out twice in a row. Ugh Ryo-san, he could've got to catch the ball if not for his injury. But what a beautiful throw nonetheless! |

| Gotta love Eijun when he supports his teammate-rival XD Laughed when he was all like, "don't drink it all, only drink half!" And then proceeds to cool Furuya off. He's come a long way since the beginning. Furuya did help out the team a lot with his strike outs, which is great, he's been doing a great job with his control. But looking ahead, if he wants to become the ace, he really needs to get his stamina up (and other things), because the only reason he could keep going all out since the beginning is because of the four pitcher line up Seidou has. He's still a first year though and has time to work on this so it's all good. Mei's strategy is doing well for Inashiro too. He's able to conserve his energy yet also keep Seidou from scoring any points at the same time. It'd probably be scary to see him go all out. |

| Haha, gotta love who Sawamura is soooo energetic and fired up about things. Furuya finds him annoying but I'm sure he appreciates it. :P As for Furuya, he's just awesome. He was able to hit the ball successfully. It's all about the mind-games with all these changeups. |

| Episode is fine. And is it me or there seems to be some weird animation there, especially when furuya is pitching when his whole body moves except for his head, which is dead awkward. |

| Carlos running, wooow. :D I'm worried about Ryo-san. Looks like it hurts and I feel like he won't be playing in the next game if he makes it through this one. The injury will definitely bite him when he needs his legs the most. It always does. :/ Yuki's quiet anger. Hahaha. And Furuya's turn around in the last few seconds! Is he going to score a home run?? |

| Intense episode. Yuki 0-2 so far at bat and looks like Furuya is coming off the mound and into left field. Masuko with the beautiful fielding! I'm curious to see how Tanba is going to play, hopefully he does well. And Ryousuke needs to take his ass out of the game. |

| daaamn this match is so intense, i'm super worked up even though i read the manga and i know what'll happen lol and I love when they remind us so many times in one episode that Miyuki's personalilty is so twisted :D |

| Inashiro slowly comes back in the game. It'd be stupid to pretend that Seidou didn't throw them off their pace in the beginning, unfortunately, it would reflect on Seidou later in the game. On the other hand, however skilled Mei is, could he last pitching the whole game? Kominato nii-san - ;_; I guess, the injury was more serious; maybe the coach should pull him back - the game seems to have set around those fast steals and defenses, and while the pitcher relay was planned, the other players are on the field from the beginning. Miyuki is doing great holding Furuya in check, and loved how the team work was shown in supporting each other. Twisted personalities are best :P Eijun continues to play the game from the dugout, being sweet and funny, but damn, also irreplaceable even from there. Absolutely loved the "Boss"'s attitude - it is type of a match 'here and now', and this is where people crush bones, yet play with all their might. I kind of get Inashiro's awesomeness better from his all-out serious perspective than being so much impressed with Inashiro's players per se. The Coach knows his kids well, he grew with them as they grew to be skilled players. The aura message Yuki gave as a response on Mei's pitching was self-explanatory for him, as the reactions of the other second-years. I wish Yuki could soon kill the damn bastards :] I doubt he's given up just yet, I really want to see him shine as well. The next week will be a long wait! :L |

| Nice episode. I wonder what kind of pitcher will Furuya be in 1-2 years, though I'd like Sawamura to take the stage in this match with his unique pitching. I hope Yuki starts to produce results, a homerun would be great to bring back the flow of the game. |

| Furuya pitched very well against Inashiro considering he only gave up 2 runs to them. Ryousuke on the other hand doesn't seem to be able to perform as usual with his swollen ankle. |

| Satoru is on a roll, the break was very important for his well being. Ryo, I love him, but he needs to be replaced before he causes a major disaster. Dammit they are catching on Satoru’s splitter Yuki is a star, tbh I completely agree with the coach’s decision. We need to replace Satoru before it gets to him mentally. |
