Get back to the harem next episode.

The next episode is the last, they're not going to focus most of it on the harem, but on more important things.

Ok, this is making less and less sense but props to them for finally dedicating a full episode to pure plot. Its rushed plot but its something right? Right?

Pretty sure Nanami being Souta's real sister is contender for biggest "what the actual fuck" moment of spring anime. Then on top of that she was somehow split into 2 people, with her virtual half being inside Ruri.

Everyone working together in the cave to meet up with Souta was kind of feelsy.

I guess one good thing is that now this eliminates Nanami and Hakua from the harem list. Of course they'll still like, be a part of the harem group, but unless they go the wincest route they wont actually be contenders as love interests.

I feel like no matter what happens in the last episode I would like to see a season 2 of some sort. It would give them a chance to develop the more underused harem girls, like the girl who was just added last week. That and some of the one-liners in this show were pretty damn funny and I wouldn't mind seeing more of that.

Did the director or author is a matrix fan? Because its seems like it.

Totally surprise that Nanami, Hakua, and Souta's are siblings. Well I don't mind incest.

why was the teacher added in the team?

+1! Can someone explain which world is real? The quest-dorm world must be virtual because it just froze for a few minutes in the previous episode... The world with pillars, flying Souta and Angel gemini, whom Souta calls programs must also be a virtual world. Where the heck is the real world? Also, does Nanami's claim to be his sister concern the Quest-dorm virtual world? Or the real world? So confused...

Plot summary so far from my understanding(might contain errors):
-Nanami and Souta are prince/princess of the Principality of Bladefield in the real world.
-Council of Seven Virtues are abusing virtual information to promote the growth of Bladefield.
-This pissed off the network(Angel Boat/Angeles Gemini) that controls the real world and they rebel against humanity, threatening the destruction of the real world.
-Bladesfield is found upon a legend where a prince/flag sacrifices himself to save the kingdom.
-Therefore, the only prince of the kingdom, Souta, is the only one that can save the kingdom now.
-The council of seven virtues realizes that and take Souta, putting him in thousands of real-world simulations (one of which is where most of this anime takes place) according to the sacrament(Sakura) in hopes of manifesting his power.
-Nanami doesn't want her brother to be sacrificed so she follows him into the simulations.
-The council realizes her plans and splits her into two pieces of data, locking up the one that knows the truth and using the other as a part of the simulation.
-Current Souta is the only one that the sacrament has appeared before.
-His developing power is too much for that simulation to handle.
-He is now fighting angel boat in the actual virtual world, outside of the council's simulations.
-We have not seen the real world as of yet.

Other thing to note:
-Hakua Berserker Bladefield(Nanami's little sister) is probably not their sister in the real world which is why Souta can see her flag.
-Miyuki(the teacher) has only been saved by Souta in the alternate simulation that Mei(the blue haired kuudere) brings him to. She joins the team because Souta is just that good.
-Nanami is still best girl.

Hope that helps!

lolol wait, is it just me or that homeroom teacher was vital part of Souta's Harem all along?

this plot twist really is too sudden hahaha. This story line did like a complete turn around from slice of life type stuff to action.

So we get a massive info-dump from the two versions of Nanami in the second to last episode, because otherwise we wouldn't be able to figure out what is happening as so much of the focus has been on Souta assembling his moe harem. All I can say is: Who Cares? This puppy jumped the shark long ago... If I didn't know it takes considerably longer to storyboard and animate an episode, I'd think they were writing the plot for each episode two days before it aired. I will grit my teeth and watch next week, just to see how bad it gets--I don't think there is any ending that can pull it out of the fire

What the hell is wrong with this show, lol. Its completely bipolar, better yet, split-personality.

I can honestly say, its not as disappointing as the so called hard-hitters (cough, selector, mekaku city actors), but damn.

Its like the author couldn't decide what type of anime he wanted to make." Lets make it about flags, oh ya, a love story as well, wait... lets also throw in some matrix shit. We can't have matrix shit without powers, now can we"?

Well, the plot got so damn confusing. I think I'll put my brain to off during the finale and try not to think about the story, it will be easier...

Nanami flat out said Hakua was his sister too. Yeah he can see his own flag, so it really doesn't matter if he can see Hakua's.

Agreed, at that point in time Nanami has her memory back and is aware of the real world, if Hakua was not their sister or just a computer program I guess she would have said something.

I hope we see all the characters in the real world in the end, maybe back at the school in the real world.

This anime got super weird super fast... Not that I'm against it. It just turned out alllooot different then expected, and there are too many plot holes to even list off.

On the plus side, atleast it's not another typical harem anime. Hopefully in the last episode we get a happy end.

I really enjoy this anime, I really do, but I feel like the pacing is way too rushed. Or the time is spent on the wrong areas. These small moments of explanation about the alternate universes and everything is a bit too difficult to wrap your head around given that they only encompass 5% of the actual story time. Oh well, maybe I'm overthinking it.

Huh. Was not expecting Nanami to be Souta's sister. If anything I thought she was Number 0. It was a little rushed and they needed to explain some things in better detail. Like I'm so confused about how Miyuki sense I is Souta's child?! And when they were opening the box she just appeared out of nowhere. I guess this explains why Nanami doesn't have flags though.

Satou must be very dumb if he thinks locking the door to his room would be the perfect protection mechanism... and having the envelope out in the open as well. It's like having my money on the dashboard of my car and hoping no one breaks in since its locked. You might say that erasing everyone's memories was part of the protection well he didn't think that through since first off he couldn't see Nanami's flag in the first place meaning he couldn't control her fate. The pacing of this anime is really bad in my opinion
