| The June issue of Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Flapper magazine announced that comedy manga Denki-Gai no Honya-san will be receiving an anime adaptation. The manga is written by Asato Mizu and is scheduled to air this Fall 2014. More information regarding the TV anime series will be coming soon. Synopsis: Umio is a shy kid who just started his part time job at a manga store smack dab in the middle of the city. But his lifestyle isn't as glamorous as the neon lights that illuminate the city. Umio's closest friends are his co-workers who are all unique characters, to say the least, and although they're nice people, they have their quirks. They are a tight-knit group of friends, have nicknames for each other, and spend their weekends inside, sheltered from the extravagant scene happening on the outside. | The manga has some funny moments while other times doesn't work out right. I guess this is a hit or miss for me. I'm curious to see what studio will adapt it though or until I see a PV soon. I'm not very familiar with Asato Mizu's other works either. |

(And to be fair, nearly all the girls look more like lolis the way they're drawn.) It's one of my favorite manga, it's really funny. |
