Upon waking up, Subaru Natsuki finds himself in a parallel reality of the fantasy world he has come to accept as his own. Despite being familiar faces, Subaru's friends are vastly different, especially as they enjoy the life of modern society that he knows all too well. This mysterious world captures the intrepid boy's interest nonetheless, and a clash between his antics and the dubious inhabitants soon leads to all sorts of amusing scenarios.

I personally sees no point for them to make these special when we have to wait for another episode of Re:zero. Aside from making a comedic like skit. Or prolly the studio's and the voice actor/artist ways of having fun from the overly intense voice acting that was required to do in the series. To either enlighten their mood after voicing those depressing scene in Rezero, but at the same time, giving some comedy to the audience of the related character in the show in a very cute form, or fun looking character designs. Similar to those short Tanaka kun special. Where each episode lasted read more

Re:zero took the op character/ shounen protagonist and beat that down to a senseless pulp. The author is borderline sadistic. It’s very prevalent through the series. The author also hates harems. That’s why we got the rem and emilia. the author purposely set them up then break it and beat them, Re:Zero quickly creates past this method to offer an genius story, that sets up an associating with universe and thrilling story. Every now and again, the primary characters in anime are depicted as basically stunning, cool, with a strong sensation of perfect flawless characteristics. but in this story there flawed and not stunning read more

Just like the previous “Break Time” shorts, this one lives off what the last one started, and goofs up just as bad as the latter did.

I did not enjoy this one as much as I did the first one, mainly because it felt dragged, many episodes felt rehashed, same dialogue, different characters.

The events discussed here are about the second half of the parent show, there are some major spoilers, but also some tiny, under-the-rug-swept extra expositions about stuff that happened in the show.

This could have been better had episodes been cut. Getting rid of filler.
Also, is it just me, or is the innocent Emilia pervy read more

I liked the break time specials. Yeah, they were not fantastic, but at least I got some interesting lore or interactions out of them.

Petit's shorts just feel like a precursor to Isekia Quartet where someone went hey we got these assets from Rezero and overlord why not get some more use out of them.

they all take place in some modern japan equivalent either a school, bookstore, the beach, or convenience mart, and typically involve the characters in some sort of joke skit.
they do not relate in any way to the main story

I did not particularly find these funny or interesting, More of read more
