Synopsis

After participating in the Johto League, Ash decides to begin anew in yet another journey; this time by himself and Pikachu, in the land of Hoenn. Though he isn't alone for long, as 10-year-old May (whom dislikes Pokemon, but just wants to come along to see the world) travels with him after Pikachu destroys her bicycle. Ash also meets up with his old companion, Brock, and May's younger brother, Max. Together, they travel along in Hoenn, battling Gym Leaders, entering Contests, and other events on the way to the Hoenn League.

*cough* I noticed no people wrote a review for this, so I'll make one myself *cough* And my first review...If you don't like to read this review, then go away >_>.

Pokemon Advance is very enjoyable to watch, followed by Ash (Satoshi) and co. traveling on the whole Hoenn region. This anime also brought me to love Pokemon! How? Uhh...long story, but Pokemon Emerald was my first game and that game brought me on loving Pokemon.

Characters: 8
Anyway, let me start. I love the story of Pokemon, even I only watched *cough* five or more...I just watch random episodes of the anime, that's all. The characters? Hmm...Ash read more

This is my first review and maybe be my last, well I'm going to try my best to keep this short and sweet because i know a lot of people don't like to read, I will now commence my bashing review on pokemon advance.

Here we have our main character still not the very best and not getting any better we will now watch him through impossible leaps of faith, moves that do not exist and his inability to figure the simplest things out. If you liked the first season of pokemon you may like this but i wont Guarantee it.

I didn't expect many reviews on this chp. of pokemon. The history of pokemon had done so well up until this point, as seen by many. However, hardcore/loyal pokemon fans stuck around and watched the entire ADV generation. We embraced the new characters, though many did not want to see old ones retire away. We took note of even more pokemon added to anime, though some felt the originals could never be replaced. The games were stellar, I've played every single pokemon game out there and I can honestly say ruby/sapphire or emerald are must haves. So what is about ADV? I mean, it should read more

OK.. the first season is original to most people and is a part of their childhood, but it's not really good, I think this season (Pokemon Advanced Generation) is much better than the previous because:

1) May (or haruka): May is spontaneous... uncomplicated... affectionate... and loving-sister, some see it just an alternative to misty, but (for me) It's much better; First she evolves from an ordinary girl weak and hasty to coordinator pokemon amazing and witty. Secondly and more importantly... she has own jounrey, own challenges, own adventure, Not just (encouraging) and companion hero!.

2) Max (or masatu): The little boy in the group... Max is Younger read more
