Well, believe it or not, I got into anime from like, somewhat unrelated sources. I think the oldest "anime" type thing that I watched was
Avatar: The Last Airbender, but I couldn't even remember it for the longest time and only started getting reinterested in it when I started watching actual anime. I suppose my real portal into anime was Pokémon, Sonic X, and Beyblade, but back then I didn't even know what the hell they were and only started watching them when I was 11-12, so around 4-5 years ago. Before that I only watched crime thrillers and family shows, which got me into Full-House which got me into cartoons (Joey), which got me curious into Pokémon, which led me into checking out other type of anime stuff, which didn't fully bloom until 2013 when I started getting interested in art and drew anime characters. Then what made me start actually watching (japanese) anime was actually yuri shows like Strawberry Panic and Sasameki Koto, then I (accidentally) watched Angel Beats!, thinking it was a yuri show and that sparked my interest in romance anime and other things from the norm I was invested in then, yeah.... I also started watching (yuri) amvs that got me interested as well, and those changed as soon as my tastes change.
I look back now and see how stupid some of them were but they still hold a special place in my heart all the same.
THIS IS WHY I WANT A GIRL FRIENDS ANIME ADAPTATION SO YURI ANIME WILL CHANGE FOR THE BETTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think I first read Girl Friends when I was changing my tastes or right before and I think much of it back then and at the time, reading manga online was like hell so I missed a lot of it including the ending.
And I think that's the reason why everyone keeps giving it a 9 when it totally deserves a 10 (coming from someone who reread it 3 times), it's because people don't think much of it at first because they're so focused on their raging sexual prowess that they don't realize how great of a series it is to build up to it rather than porn from cover to cover.
I think I got a little carried away, hehehe...

That's wierd... How come you don't have it on your manga list?

Were you already into anime back then? Or did someone show it to you?

If I ever make a top anime couples list, they would most definitely be on the top... somewhere at least... I WANT TO SEE MORE OF THEM!!!!!!!
HARUHI SEASON 3 DAMMIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

9 years old?! Wow you were young! I'm surprised! Haruhi really isn't something kids usually would/should watch. Hmmmm...
Oh, don't worry about transversing the internet, I have been neglecting my replying duties a lot as of late...
YUKI X KYON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh don't worry, that makes sense. I do it all the time, whenever I feel a real connection with the show, I usually bump it up a grade more than it's supposed to be. Although I usually keep all seasons/movies that are in the same series under the same grade, if I did that I would feel as if I cheated Suzumiya Haruhi no Shoushitsu, by giving it a 9, so I give it a 10. It was really the movie that made me love Haruhi so much, so it's more sentimental for me.

Wait, you watched Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu as a kid? How old were you?

I hope you don't mind my asking, but how come you rated Suzumiya Haruhi no Shoushitsu lower than Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu?
