Synopsis

After his confrontation in the Nether with his younger brother Shou, Shinra Kusakabe's resolve to become a hero that saves lives from the flame terror strengthens. Finding a way to turn the Infernals back into people, unraveling the mystery of the Evangelist and Adolla Burst, and saving his mother and Shou—these are the goals Shinra has in mind. However, he has come to realize that attaining these goals will not be easy, especially with the imminent danger the Evangelist poses.

The Evangelist's plan is clear: to gather the eight pillars—the individuals who possess Adolla Burst—and sacrifice them to recreate the Great Cataclysm from 250 years ago. Having been revealed by the First Pillar that the birth of a new pillar is approaching, Shinra is determined to protect his fellow pillars from the Evangelist. Thus, the fiery battle between the Special Fire Force and the Evangelist ignites. Together with the Special Fire Force, Shinra's fight continues as he uncovers the truth about the Great Cataclysm and the nature of Adolla Bursts, as well as the mysteries behind human combustion.

If the mangaka and the director of Fire Force at David Production had one major flaw that they could have learned from the first season of Fire Force is the pacing. The pacing of Fire Force anime was so dreadful to the point that I fell asleep or was distracted for the majority of season one. Because of that, I had to rewatch numerous episodes that I missed. And We’re six episodes into the second season, this aspect of the anime has not even been considered to be modified.

To elaborate, this season has so far displayed nothing but fights. These fights look read more

(short review) although the season 1 reviews are highly favorable
there were certain areas were fire force was failing.... season 2 improves on those

I can totally tell that they are making an effort to change what they got wrong last season . the facial expression s of characters are actually good
..... Guess this season they are again trying for the surreal type of comedy approach im not gonna say its not funny at all but, it can be totally hit or miss type .
ART:
the ANIMATION in the fight against the big infernal was top notch , though the fight was not as read more

With the running Season 2, David Production continues to improve the series by taking the critics from the first season and fixing the issues watchers had with it.

Story: 9
The story follows Shinra as he discovers more about the truth behind Spontaneous Human Combustion and his past. I've heard some people saying that Season 1 was a mess of a story, just running around without context, but to be honest.... it feels like it. In the end you just finished Rekka and thats it.

Not with this one. In the beginning you're already being introduced to the mysterious so-called "First Pillar" announcing the birth of the read more

Okay Im going to be honest , i actually like this anime. But the pace is super slow which means it is so boring i could watch this to make me fall a sleep. I would actually use x2 speed to save my time. And it is getting boring and boring every episodes.

The fighting animations is often dope but you can't actually feel any danger among the main character. When a serious fight is happening they will make unnecessary jokes or fan-services.The fight also will be drag too long and that is because of the slow pacing.

The character .Tamaki, useless character and annoying. Delivered unnecessary read more
