Actually, that unorthodox part seemed kind of weird before watching, but once you get into it, it's really fun. Although I would suggest watching the first anime season, which adapted the first 2 parts of the manga, you'll get the basic gist of what you're up to.

Oh, and speaking of recommendations, you should totally check out One Punch Man season 1. It's an awesome show! Also, considering your watched list, I'm pretty sure you'll love Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. It's got a mysterious plot and some really cool fights, so it's definitely worth giving it a shot.
