A booklet included in the Blu-ray volume of Ougi Dark arc from the second installment of Owarimonogatari anime series, which ships on Wednesday, has revealed that Zoku Owarimonogatari, the sixth and last volume of NisiOisiN's Monogatari Series: Final Season novel series, will receive an anime adaptation in 2018. The official website has revealed a preview and a key visual (pictured).

Zoku Owarimonogatari contains the Koyomi Reverse arc, and was published by Kodansha in September 2014. The arc takes place after the college entrance exams but before the events in Hanamonogatari.

The first anime adaptation of the Monogatari Series: Final Season novel series aired in Fall 2014 with Tsukimonogatari. The second anime adaptation covering the third and fourth volume, Owarimonogatari, followed in Fall 2015. Koyomimonogatari, the second volume of the series, was adapted as a 12-episode net anime and streamed through its titular smartphone application earlier last year.

The sequel to Owarimonogatari, which is the series' recent anime adaptation, aired as a two-day special on August 12 and August 13, adapting the Mayoi Hell, Hitagi Rendezvous, and Ougi Dark arcs from the fifth volume.

so u look at hana but not tsuki, which came out on time. Also its ironic u talk about context when u should be looking at that. Hana was supoosed to air on the same year as nisekoi and mekakucity actors. Having 3 series in 1 season is the context that it was overwork and impossible. There is no context here that should make anyone educated on the context fearful about a delay

Overwork doesn't mean anything. If it was announced for a certain date or year and it was delayed, it was delayed end of story. You want a more recent Shaft failure? The anime your avatar is from was delayed by Shaft from 2017 into 2018 next season. Then you look at Hana, then you look a the pitiful delay of the Madoka Magica series, and you start realizing a certain trend. Shaft is one of the worst studios for delays and you can't really deny it.
Ya I am soo sorry a fucking earthquake delayed ur weekly dose of magical girls.

Omg, big news. My fav anime gets another season. But I have a

question for ranobe readers.

Exactly how long is whatever they are adapting, it's full season, right? Not 4 episodes or 1-1.5 movie we are expecting? I'm really exited in both cases, but It would still be better if it's a full season. Monogatari is a dish that's always good, but it's best served in a series format.
Ranobe readers, kotaete kudasai!

That was just a noteworthy example.
Maybe you shouldn't take everything out of context.
