What is bundled with BD/DVD are serial codes for a lottery, where you will have priority when applying to purchase concert tickets. You can still buy concert tickets if there are any left over after all the BD/DVD buyers have purchased their tickets, so they actually make more money doing it this way.

That's good, it would be a waste if only the anime buyers could go to the events.

Wouldn't they get more money just selling the tickets separately? they are actually losing money with having so little people coming, or are the venues not big enough?

What is bundled with BD/DVD are serial codes for a lottery, where you will have priority when applying to purchase concert tickets. You can still buy concert tickets if there are any left over after all the BD/DVD buyers have purchased their tickets, so they actually make more money doing it this way.

However, lately the lottery has been limited to only 1 serial code per person. This happened for the 5th Love Live concert lottery where you had to purchase the Anime BD Vol.1 to get priority when buying concert tickets, and yet it still sold 115K+. You cannot cheat the lottery by using different identification details, as they ask for a form of identification when entering the venue, so there is no point in buying multiple copies anymore. Love Live staff did this to give BD buyers are more equal chance at obtaining concert tickets, but considering how massive Love Live's fanbase is, people still miss out. There are other ways of watching the concerts, such as official live streams at theatres, but these generally have free lotteries, but of course you still have to buy the ticket to the official live stream.

Just saying this, but if you're going to be posting this regularly, include how many days until release. The reason is that these Stalker estimates are not very useful when the release date is so far away due to how quickly they can change. As I posted last week, the formula used to calculate these sales projections are very easily influenced by the most recent week performance.

If Osomatsu-san were to perform exactly the same for the next 78 days until release, then sure its final estimate would >=35K, but it is too early to think it'll do anywhere near that.

I agree, it might underperform later on because of its longer release date compared to others but it can still give a fair bit of idea if its expected sales for now.

Thats amazing.

I don't believe that source, it's most likely just an estimate.

I could see the series selling very well, but 30,000 is just impossible.

It seems like the type of series to get very high TV ratings but less substantial BD sales.
im guessing u have no idea what stalker estimates is

So much movie entries this week.

Alright Osomatsu-san! I love that show. xD

And Starmyu is 3K hopefully we get another season like with Shounen Hollywood even with those low sales. Starmyu is probably the best male idol anime. Utapri was good until the third season now A-1 is just milking it and unfortunately its working out for them. 4th season confirmed to be a trainwreck.

Nov 10, 2015 11:24 AM by Roloko

Osomatsu-san is very popular in Japan though. Legend still alive.

Also Fafner will surprass Gundam on sales.

Nov 10, 2015 10:05 AM by SaltyShoebill

Solid enough results for the secondary week for most of the shows there. Some still adding to their good original totals.

Nice topping off for GX's second volume, things also adding nicely for Overlord, and this week pushed Illya over the 4k point for it's second volume which is nice.

Interesting predictions so far for the fall season. Holy crap on the top two shows. Gochuumon holding the third spot of the season so far and probably for good reason with how good it has been. Good results for Gundam and Utaware so far. Good for them since they are doing really well in terms of quality.
