The fifth issue of Shueisha's Shounen Jump NEXT!, which will be released next Tuesday, will announce that Kuroko no Basket will get a sequel serialization, starting in the following issue to be released on December 29th. The issue will feature the sequel on its cover and include a color title page for it. The new series will cover the after story of the main manga. This sequel is the "miracle" mentioned when the manga was first announced to end this past August.

Problem is, if they do an all japan team, my main man aomine is probably gonna get replaced by kagami since he has hax zone abilities

Yay! So excited. Knew that the manga wouldn't end like that.

I want it to surprise me... Shounens are always great when they started, but later they become boring and predictable.
I dream about KnB evolving to something more than playing basketball all the time, with strange superpowers and time-to-time good old speeches about friendship, teamwork, winning and so on. Something more seinen-like. What is probably not gonna happen @@

I better hurry up and finish the manga, otherwise I'll be late for the release.

Great news! Always knew there will be some kind of continuation (the "miracle" hint), but I was afraid it was going to be a 5 chapter epilogue as opposed to a true full-blown sequel. Hope Fujimaki uses the break to watch some actual NBA matches as research.

No more Teppei, no more Hyuga and no more Izuki. They basically lost half their team. So how are they gonna compensate?

I mean, unless they do some sort of national team thingy, which would be pretty bad as they'd go up against Spain, France and the ol' US of A teams.

Maybe they'll find another shadow boy and make it a Dual shadow team XD

See it coming but was HOPING for it not to happen >< so they are going to fight internationally and the international players have even greater super powers and in order to defeat them... the knb characters have to level up their super powers (not basketball skills) to defeat them?.. haha.. a "great" battle manga indeed...

i dont care if they create more bs moves...seeing all the gom (and bakagami) play together on one team is a dream come true

Sigh. So this is where the GoM with kagami team up and fight internationally? I don't even know what to think of this. The last matches were so horrible the manga became totally shit. I have no expectations but I hope it will have the same impact as the first arc of the manga.
