da hell, delayed by five weeks they said. :/
But yeah its good to hear that those 5 eps will aired all at once on August 16th. Worth to wait.

May 19, 2014 11:31 PM by hublaa

Aww, Hanamonogatari is delayed. SHAFT, you troller.

Anyways, nuff said, SAO II will cover 2 volumes of the novel, so it means, this season can only get 12 episodes?

May 19, 2014 10:36 PM by SweetCoconut

So they removed all the previous cast for the Initial D remake movie, why not.

And Shaft being procrastinative as usual with Monogatari Series, at least it will be worth the wait.

SAO was a flawed show, but i enjoyed it thoroughly ("so bad it's good" kind of thing, i suppose). The wacky plot, hilarious imouto stuff, and over the top villain were the most obvious banal aspects of the show that surprisingly i didn't mind too much, instead i found them to be completely hilarious and entertaining. Call me a dork all you want, but the Suguha-Kirito drama on eps 22 totally had me in stitches. So yeah, so long as SAO II can maintain the same level of wackiness for the whole season, it'll have a chance to be a great guilty pleasure.

Btw, genderbending Kirito with fluttery long hair on the PV looks pretty hot.

Seeing as Sword Art Online II has "guns" in it, I am calling bullshit on this one. The show's called "Sword Art Online" right? Why the hell are there going to be guns in SAO II.

Because it'll be a different game (Gun Gale Online). The author also wanted the title to be consistent, but you'll see that the new game will tie in to Aincrad more than you think.

It's called Gun Gale Online, a new VRMMORPG. That's pretty much the whole story of SAO, Kirito just keeps going into different games and whooping ass along with gaining new harem members. Since this is only going to be a one cour, I hope it will be a lot better in terms of pacing and content shown.

I don't remember any sources stating it'll be one cour, but I would be glad it would be seeing that the TV series should end before Mother's Rosario and make that arc into a movie. GGO will be the last new game Kirito will be entering. Can't wait to see the Alicization arc animated however, that's where this series really shines. As for the harem members, at least the later girls (and guys) actually are part of the plot. Silica, Liz, etc. were just characters from the novel's side stories in volume 2 that don't have much to do with the progression of the story other than Yui.

i believe gundam is what everybody waiting for aside from GGO.
which is kirito is awefully strange designed

People were complaining about the quality of the latest SAO II trailer, I find myself actually enjoying it. Fingers crossed that A-1 won't fuck up, but seeing the first season plus that fanservice special, they probably will.

Same, I enjoyed it as well. I thought the first season was fairly good, but some improvements definitely could have been made. I'm very curious to see how this upcoming season will turn out.

same for me - People who complain probably they watched log of horizon and forgot about SAO

Bakumatsu Rock had a first PV?

Ah I thought I remembered seeing a PV for it before this one, but checking it now I think I was thinking of the game for some reason. I'll change it.

I thought that PV was the game's, though...
