| It has been announced that the manga "Nobunagun" will get an anime adaptation. The manga is currently serialized in Monthly Comic Earth Star and has two volumes published so far. No other information is yet available. Summary of the story: Okura Shio is a highschool girl who was attacked during a school excursion. This triggered the soul of Oda Nobunaga inside her to wake up. Later she met other people with similar experiences and found that they are called "E Gene Holders" and they fight the "Evolved Invasion Species" from space under the command of the supranational organization "DOGOO". At the end I decided to stick to the use of the standard romanji transliteration system by writing ガン as "Gan" instead of "Gun" after giving some thoughts about it.I'm assuming it's intended to be NobunaGun since this is the manga where Nobunaga is literally a gun or something (also how others sites have reported the title). |

| This Nobunaga + highschool + alien premise has been done before. The drawing designs remind me of older manga, which is unappealing to me. Concept art also looks like it has some cyber punk influences. Controlling of spirits plot is similar to Sharman King and Hikaru No Go. This can be either make or break for me. I'll keep an eye on it for now. |

| One of those premises that could be really fun and crazy or just pretty pointless and there's just really no way of telling in the slightest which way it will go. I'll look at it when it comes out and hope for the best. |
