The crime story was somewhat predictable even, but the last episode left good hopes for a possible improvement in this final stretch of the anime.
If you gave dropped in red date girl probably will not like Mushibugyou I only just quoted the same.
He very predictable, pure style shounnen without innovating it's just nice to watch.

About the live date.
You're right it was the best episode so far had a bit of comedy, romance and even had a serious tone :)
Kurumi is a very interesting character!
I liked enough of Dansai Bunri in Crime Edge and Mushibugyou too.
I think my top three Remained the same.
But I think four, five, six, seven may change when i finish watching hentai ouji, Ore no Imouto, Valvrave and the Shingeki Kyojin.
I'm two episodes behind Them with the exception of ore no imouto

Ha ah okay. You asked favorite, not best, so I'll go with Henneko, Date A Live and Maou-sama. I think there's plenty of better shows that the first two but they never fail to make me laugh my ass off so those three are the ones I most look forward to. It's a really strong season though. Titan, Gargantia, Valvrave and Aku no Hana are all really great. Yourself?

Yeah I actually have had it downloaded for ages and only noticed it wasn't on my PTW there earlier. I decided a while back I'd try and watch some of the worst anime ever made, and realised after a while all I had to do was watch practically any hentai. Weak writing, awful animation, terrible voice actors, it has it all!

I could not enjoy Shingeki much this week because Armin's still alive while Eren's still dead. Instead this week's episode of Gargantia was exactly what I've been waiting for.
As for Railgun I don't know anything about that anime.

Date-A-Live is pretty dull for the most part. It's not the worst harem I've seen and I don't even dislike harem that much but there's just not much of a story to be found.
Ep6 was really boring, as it was just some random filler hot spring episode.
Ep7 just now introduced a new spirit which seems rather interesting. More so than the others so far. If this "arc" doesn't end in ep8 but extends a bit Date-A-Live might climb the enjoyment ladder a bit.

Ika Musume is a cute quirky comedy with plenty of charm. If you're looking for something simplistic and easy consume then I'd say give it a go. You liked Maou-sama then you'll probably take it as a moe ver. of that.
Hopefully crunchy subs isn't just full of squid puns lol.
