I'm waiting for a second season of Highschool DxD and it saddens me to see the low sales of Another and Tasogare Otome x Amnesia. |

W0ot!!!!!!!!!! ^____^ GO KUROBAS! close to 20k! Its still out of stock in amazon and will only be in stock on September 10th. So we might we a good third or fourth week as well. :D Poor Another...:( I wish it sold better. Inu Boku gets another 795 copies under its belt. Its BD probably got some too but we probably won't see it. Accel World dropped a bit....I think? Modified by phoenixalia, 09-04-12, 2:08 AM |

I think Nise needs one more week to keep its average of ~58.6k per volume? Would like to see it at 60k average... but it'll need around ~7k more to get to that =/ |

Man, I'm so sorry for Symphogear. From what I heard, it was originally supposed to be 26 episodes, but it got axed and the ending was super rushed. I enjoyed it, but I would have loved to see it how it was supposed to be. They fered low sales, but even the rushed version did decently... |

Not really... most anime realeasing its disc after 3 month its airing time, n releasing 1 disc per 1-& half month, you got 9-12 month for 6 disc like Hagsnai then. EDIT.. Its 11 month for completing its disc sales since the airing.. dunnp what so weird with that. But yeah Haganai releasing its first disc later than other fall 11 anime. Isn't it already at ~58.5k average after this week's sales? It would be ~59.6k average if the previous week's Vol 5 sales have already been added in for the current ~58.6k average listed on the Anime Sales thread. Unless a 6th BD+DVD volumes are on the way... or I calculated wrong? Aniplex and Amazon had conflict before I heard. So Fate/Zero BD-BOX II hasn't been up on Amazon for a normal amount of time. 26k is very under-estimated for something that sold 51.3k for the 1st BD-BOX. |

But yeah Haganai releasing its first disc later than other fall 11 anime. you can see above that P4 has already reached its 10th volume other 1-cour Autumn shows such as Horizon (7 volumes) finished ages ago kinda surprised how slow their marketing strategy is maybe they were planning it from the beginning so the last volume is closer or not to far from the 2nd season |

Vol. 2 may indeed outsell Vol. 1, though only because we probably haven't seen Vol. 1's full sales potential. phoenixalia said: Inu Boku gets another 795 copies under its belt. Downgrade355 said: Nise'll most likely average 55k ... so 55k sounds more reasonable, but then again, it's already at the 5th volume, so it might just average higher than that, who knows. The 5th volume is the last volume, and it's already averaging 59,579 so it can't be any lower than that. It needs to add another 2,105 total BDs to average 60k (assuming DVDs are done). It probably won't do that with Vol. 5 alone, but when the 2012 yearly rankings come out in early 2013 I won't be surprised if just enough gets added to earlier volumes to put it over he 60k mark, especially if DVDs do add some. If not, it'll be extremely close. Ejc said: Aniplex and Amazon had conflict before I heard. Fate/Zero part 2 will end up selling about the same as the first box, so over 50k eventually. Amazon Stalker is useless for the titles that were taken down from Amazon for a long time. Yeah that might be true, however if the next volumes sell lower then apparently the average outcome would be less than 58k. (Or the 5th vol is the last one? if that's the chase then 58K is likely). Yeah, 26k doesn't seem quite right, but then again, Persona 4 was at 41k+ and dropped down to barely 30k, and unfortunately, at this rate it might average less than that, most animes, especially those top sellers, start their first 3 volumes's sales pretty high, then they start dropping gradually. but like i said before, the otaku got their hands full right now, so yea lol jmal said: Yeah, this is a huge second week, even bigger than Vol. 1. Like I said, Vol. 1 wasn't adequately stocked so it's probably sold more over time, but not enough to rank each week, so we don't know how much it's truly sold. You can see the same with Mouretsu Pirates or Tiger & Bunny. Shows that were more popular than the distributor expected, and didn't print enough copies for the first volume.
