| The fox doesn't look really male if you ask me, even wearing a shirt and a woman-like hat. Looks more like a mistranslation or something. Also if you look at his/her head: it has definitely the face structure of a girl. Okay, this whole ''what gender is it'' thing aside (I still don't know what it actually is), but it really reminded me of xxxHolic >.> Young fox, helped by main character, unable to transform into a human. Oh well, they both started publishing in the same year... This episode was okay, but I really need a storyline! Just returning names and getting flashbacks aren't good enough for me to be a storyline >.> ~Wants more Kaname~ |

| The fox in the manga was more masculine xD Anyways, this episodes was nice and cute. The little fox-that-looked-like-a-little-girl was really cute too. From the preview it looks like the episode might be something like the previous one. >D Looking forward to it. |

I'm assuming at some point we learn how she gained happiness and by then Natsume would probably already have found the answer to his own loneliness. |

| At the beginning I was like huh where is this going with the little fox? Episode was good but finished loving it. Natsume's words at the end, reminded me of something and made me cry. | A beautiful episode that was just so cute! This series masters to capture teh summer feel so well, it fits perfectly into the summer series. This is definitely my favourite of the season. |

| Natsume is really my feel good anime!! Yes, the theme of loneliness is quite prominent and you feel for the characters but at the end of the episode, there is this warm fuzzy feeling which makes me smile. The little fox is really cute and abt it's gender issues, well I see it as a guy (obviously) and he is a kid. His innocence and gentleness would prolly automatically thinks that the hat is pretty, pretty enough for his mum. Therefore, he wears the hat in a way to connect with her. |

That's how I keep describing it to my bf - it definitely reminds me of mushi-shi a little. It does have a bit more of a steady storyline than mushi-shi, however, but only slightly so far. | This episode was simply great. I was suspecting things would take a turn for the worst, like making that little kid think that natsume didn't like him, and become a bad spirit or something. I'm glad this doesn't follow that dammned shonnensque formula. I'd keep that fox spirit. just like cat-sensei. |

| Just getting sweeter and sweeter each episode, aww.. ;u; And the ED is as soothing as ever. I'm not really into episodic anime in general (Mushishi was great though), but this feels just.. right somehow, especially when I'm already tired. Not really the kind of anime ever to get into my favourites, but.. yeah. Calming, I do like it. Nayah said: My whole world was shattered when the little fox started using 'boku'.. Hehe, that's when I got it, too.. Wasn't that world-shattering though, I simply thought "oh.. okay, then". XD |

| The story hasn't developed all that much, but each episode seems to get me more attatched. I guess it is potraying the theme of lonliness and i can relate to that too, altogether it just gives me a warm feeling watching this <3 |

| Uber-Cuteness!!! Then again, I always like kitsune.. This kid's adorable, cute ... He was getting tricked?? Aren't kitsune normally supposed to be the tricksters themselves? Oh well, must be 'cause he's so young. And yeah, with the hat and the shirt as well I guess anyone would think it's a girl. nyanko sensei was fun again as well. |
