So a new series starting out. this episode wasn't the best... it wasn't good, it's not bad.. its just there. I can't really explain it. Hopefully later this would be a kick ass anime of this month of July. |

| i didn't read the manga but i thought it is a good episode. the cat is really cute! it kinda reminded me of xxxholic though, as both natsume and watanuki are the only ones who can see the supernaturals around them. |

| Pretty good for a first episode, although it will need to up the ante to keep me interested. The art style is a bit bland, but so well done that I find it enjoyable. Plus I'm a sucker for stuff relating to Japanese folklore so for now it gets a passing grade. |
| I kind of liked it... not really a style I usually get in to, but I liked it. The action wasn't very exciting (though perhaps it's not supposed to be?), but I enjoyed the calm and gently humorous sides to the episode. Definitely need another episode to make any sort of judgment on it, though. If it stays like this, though, I think I'll probably continue to like it. |

| Well, I had a deja-vu feeling throughout the whole episode, but it was not boring. Had a nice feeling to it. If I find the time, maybe I will watch a few more. |

| This reminds the style of Nausicaa Valley of the Wind. Interesting folklore about the different Youkais one might encounter during their trip to Japan, of course provided one believes in them and can have skills to see them. I like the cat. This show also reminds me of a American movie called Never Ending Story but I find this of course way better and also way better than this piece of **** **** **** Walt Disney American brainwashing crap. |

| Lol, the introduction reminded me of xxxHolic, but then for a younger public! xD No, I like it. Nyanko-sensei rules, but Reiko even more. She reminds me of Tohru's mother (FuruBa) and Nyanko's real form reminded me of Okami. Finally an anime this season that didn't disappoint me ^.^ |

| to tell the truth, it was kinda boring, and as a first episode i didnt like it much, i cant stand ugly creatures, monsters, souls etc... , and there are lots of them in this anime xD The first episode was very slow-paced which was ok imo, but even wasnt funny where it should have been...they were all predictable... But ill keep my hope high, and wait for this one to turn into smth enjoyable to watch... |

| This sorta reminded me of the way Kure-nai started. Slightly slow and light-hearted, but plenty of mystery. I loved it, Brains Base yet again, does a great job animating this. That makes 3 good shows in a row by them. (Baccano and Kure-nai being the previous two) |
| Kind of a disappointing first episode for me, I was really looking forward to this due to the greatness of Brains Base's last two shows. The art was bland, the animation was good, but the plot seems kind of pointless to me. Reiko sealed a bunch of Ayakashi just because she could, and now her grandson will go around unsealing them. That's it so far. Hopefully it will get better. |

| Oh my god, that was such a nice surprise! An animation style I'm really happy with, an interesting protagonist, the lovely, heartbreaking One-Eye back story, and Nyanko-sensei's voice (especially his last line) made me crack up. I can see why some might call this 'bland', but sometimes a first ep just clicks with you. Can't wait for the next one! I also can't wait to find out some more about his grandmother - she immediately seemed interesting. |

| While it isn't told in the same way of Baccano (obviously), I enjoyed it a lot. Then again, I'm a sucker for these kind of supernatural series dealing with spirits and the like. It seems like it's going to be episodic, which I won't have a problem with if it's done right, like with Mushishi. I'm really excited about this series now. Hopefully it'll keep up with my expectations. |

| This series has a lot of potential. I eagerly look forward to seeing how it unfolds. First episode has keenly interested me; so far the most promising series this season. |
| That episode was soothing, like a cool summer breeze. It was animated beautifully and I like the little moments of comic relief within all that seriousness. I also like the unique use of the youkai's names. The soundtrack was good as well and the ED was just beautiful. I think this series has some good potential. I'm going to stick with it. |

| Only real complaint here is some of the monster voices are cheesy and annoying. Sigh. Other than that, a lovely adaptation. Highly anticipating later episodes. |

| This anime has a good potential with a xxxHolic/Mushishi feeling to it and good psychological side in this first ep. The pacing is very slow though but the show is well-done overall for now. |

| I think that it can go either way. Depends on the following ep's. A lot of people mentioned xxxHolic but it reminds me more of Mokke. |

| Finally started my second anime for the summer season. It was a pretty good first episode, although it was really slow paced at the start, the second half made up for that. Plus I agree with Kasumisama about the annoying ayakashi voices, and it's rare for us to agree sometimes. xD Looking forward to more. |

| I loved the Neko X333 And as I saw that Inoue Kazuhiko is voicing him I just couldn't resist the anime. I love the relaxing ending very much. I think that the show will be very good. The first episode was very succesfull ^^ |

| I like this kind of stuff so the first episode for me was a pleasent experience. It really is hard to adapt Midorikawa Yuki's lovely art style so the design for the anime is kinda eh for me. But it was a adapted well overall so I can overlook something like this. |
