Thank you my brother. I just used your "Plan to Watch List" as my summer season guide.

( Enfin quand mon porte monnaie me l'autorisera. :( )

Oh tiens, le Jacut à terminé l'animé et le manga TOUCH, alors au final suis-je vraiment raleur sur la fin animée de TOUCH puisque je vois un 10 dessus tout comme le manga?

Yeah, Summer could end up being quite good. Although there always seems to be an overload of generic crappy shows, but there's always a couple of great ones in the mix.
I really need to finish off Higurashi, since the horror aspect was great.

Yeah, I'm looking into manga a lot more now actually. There's so many out there that I've yet to discover. It's a nice feeling. :D

haha I'm definitely jealous. I'm sure you'll be able to find another job - since as you said, you've already got the experience from working in the industry.

At the moment I'm not really watching that many. I've decided to keep my "currently watching" shows to a minimum, at least for now. But yeah, I'm enjoying Higashi no Eden as well. Also really enjoying Higepiyo - each episode is short, but funny.
Oh, and I also noticed your comments in the Kemono no Souja Erin threads for eps 13 + 14. Completely agree with you. I'm loving it, and where it's going. Great music, interesting animation/art, well developed/developing characters, and the same goes for the story.

As for summer anime, there's Spice and Wolf II (judging from your score, you liked the first season?) as well as the third Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei season. Oh, and you obviously like Type-Moon anime, so you should definitely check out CANAAN. I saw the trailer and it looks great. And of course Umeniko no Naku Koro ni. I've only seen a bit of the Higurashi, and it's ok I guess (I'm not sure if I like the characters yet. They're too 'cutesy' and annoying for me...but the horror is great). But you obviously loved Higurashi, so no doubt Umeniko will be right up your alley.
Nothing else really strikes me as interesting, except maybe Tokyo Magnitude 8.0.
Everything else seems quite generic actually. Still, you never know.

Oh and you mentioned you were more into manga at the moment. I really should get into it as well. It's just I have a heap of (supposedly) great anime to watch, so that's putting me off. Still, I'll definitely get into it at some point in the near future. I'm interested to read 20th Century Boys and Nausicaa in particular.

Ah sweet, the added bonus of special access to DVDs makes some of the more difficult aspects of your work that bit better right? :p

Hmm, that's unfortunate. So long as you can find somewhere else easily enough. Just be glad you don't live in Australia at the moment. Getting a job is extremely difficult.

By the way, have you been watching many good shows lately? I've noticed you've got quite a few that you're currently watching.

BigSimo | 05-13-09, 9:56 PM
Wow, that actually sounds great. You'd be in amongst the whole anime scene, and you'd have easy access to DVDs (maybe at a smaller cost?).
Do you think you'll be let go at some point in the (near) future?

BigSimo | 05-10-09, 1:53 AM
That's awesome! I'd love to work in that industry some day. What kinds of things does your job entail?

BigSimo | 05-09-09, 4:53 AM
Hey man I never realised...you're working in the anime industry!?
What kind of work do you do?

japanme32 | 04-24-09, 6:48 AM
Konichiwa! You work in anime? Me too trying to get into anime industry but now work with kids in schools in Japan.

WOW you have more completed than me. Is nice! :D
So hope we can talk anime but my english bad.

darKagami | 04-19-09, 2:18 PM
Oh yeah! I'm waiting Guin Saga too.
You're right. Sengoku Basara's style is bit too over exagerated! But it's one anime's that is watched weekends with bunch of friends and after couple of beers. So it doesn't really bother :)

Recently I have started to get bored with this mainstream anime and I'm trying to find unique animes.

darKagami | 04-17-09, 3:14 PM
Hey man! How are you? So are you liking any new animes? I are personally like K-on and Sengoku Basara (mainly because I like to play samurai warriors and there is Norio Wakamoto :) )
Been keeping a little pause from LOGH! That OVA is a bit tiring to watch 'cause there isn't so much new information!

Afloplouf | 04-14-09, 11:32 AM
