I'm a girl, 16 years young (or old, but they say it's an insult if you call a girl or woman old ) and I really started anime... Let me think. It was well, some years ago, somewhere early 2006, I guess. I watched anime before on the Dutch television, dubbed in Dutch. It's not horrible, but the episode numbering is very different than the original, for example Ahiru no Quack and another anime that I'm still watching on Dutch tv is Pokémon. I didn't really know that Pokémon was an anime at first and I started watching it somewhere around 1998~2000, just like Digimon. I still like those, especially Digimon. So, when I finally started watching anime, something like 2005~2006, I started with Love Hina. Someone was looking for that anime, but he couldn't find it and I asked around at MSN and I finally gave that boy the link for it. Before I knew it, I also started watching it and that's how I started with watching anime. Now I'm known as an otaku in my friend circle, even if I'm not actually an otaku. Therefore my room isn't full enough to be like that of an otaku's. I watch most of my anime on streamingsites, but I don't own that many DVDs. I mostly have movies in my anime DVD list and those are mainly Ghibli. I do own some manga and you can find them in my manga list, under the header ''On-hold''. Anime that I like to watch? It differs. I mostly like to watch romance, adventure, anything with bishounen, CLAMP, comedy and mystery, but I also like shounen-ai and yaoi. Junjou Romantica = win. Sorry, that was my fangirlism.

~Goals~
Do I have any other hobbies next to watching anime? Yes, I have... Somehow. I like to write (fan)fiction, writing comments that are way too long, riding my mountainbike, taking pictures, collecting dragon stuff, playing on my Playstation two (mostly Okami and Dragon Quest: Journey of the Cursed King), loving my adorable cats and play with them and feed them and give them attention and watching anime again.

Toen ik echt nèt klaar was zag ik er wel zo vies uit en ik keek dus werkelijk waar zo: o__________o Want 3 en half uur in de bloedhete zon werken is nou niet bepaald een van de best omstandigheden... Trouwens, ik heb een paar dagen geleden Fruits Basket Sticker Collection binnengekregen! :D Ben er echt heel blij mee! Ik ga een aantal van die stickers in mijn agenda stoppen, die ik trouwens ook helemaal ga anime-oppimpen. ^^ Er zitten zelfs henna-tatoos bij! Nu nog maar wachten tot ik geld heb voor volume 5 en 6! The cosplay can't be off not even by a little. >.> dangerous ground... lol Oh my hair is not down to my butt but its still below my breasts, like mid-back-ish. :P Lol! Yea... best not attract the ecchi brigade. That's cool about the boy dressed up as Konata :D I saw a dude dressed with this amazing Gothic dress but I was kinda scared cause at first I could not tell if it was a guy in Gothic-drag or just a rlly creepy looking girl ó_o I bet a Dark Magician Girl would have fit this guy pretty well too. hahaha! The most amazing Cosplay I have ever seen was a guy dressed as Fye/Fay from Tsubasa. Holly hell, he was RLLY tall like 190cm!!! and he was soooo hot! It was like a Fye Clone!!!! No one could stop staring o.o; hahaha Yuko has amazing dresses but I'm pretty sure it would be RLLY hard to walk in them, especially in a CON. hahaha. Yea I know what you mean with Sakura's hair lol. Well... you could always uuuh... stick pieces of hair on? magentaanbu | 07-26-08, 11:09 PM Yea thats why I'm making my cosplay with so much time. The Con is in Febuary hahahaha. I was analizing quite a bit of characters and because I'm short I had come up with, short characters XD since I am 151 cm. Which is quite short...lol These were my options: Haruhi (from Ouran) Shana (Shakugan no Shana) Rukia (bleach) MAka (Soul Eater) I could do any of them cause my mom does not rlly care if I dye my hair and also I could use I wig.. (which I will for Shana) I discarded Haruhi and Rukia cause I would have to go natural with those 2, and my hair is rlly long. I love my hair and I was not willing to chop it off. hahaha. Maka was almost the one I chose buuuut, then I thought meh... shes not very well known yet and shes too simple... so maybe next year, so Shana was left. So Shana it was! lol IT took a while to come up with those characters. Some people also told me to go as LALA from To-Love-ru & Konata from Lucky Star, but I didn't feel like it u_u lol Well don't worry about normal sized characters so much, In my case because I'm short Its better to go for the short characters but in you case your size is avarege so you can go for most characters. Just don't go for a character like Yuko from Xxxholic. You have to be VERY tall to pull that one off. She's a hard to play character hahaha. But like you said. Sakura from Tsubasa. Perfect! your height is excelent and if your hair and eye color match thats even better :D IT all depends on how willing you are to make your hair have a certain style. Thats my biggest pain lol. After that... either get a person who knows how to make clothes or do them yourself if you know how... (not many people do don't worry), Lots of pictures, from back, front and side ways and in poses so that the people who make the clothes get a perfect Idea on how to make them ^-^ Well thats a few tips I can give you hahaha. :D good luck finding the ideal character ^-^ Reply - Anime - Manga

Hahaha, cosplaying is fun, but I don't cosplay often because its so much work. I only cosplay once a year. :3 I tend to be rlly rlly detailed when cosplaying so thats why it takes such a long time. This year I'm going as Shana from Shakugan no Shana. :D If you do try to cosplay try looking for a character that would suit your height and complexion ^-^ you will be a big hit with the photographers that way! Ben daarom ook heel erg benieuwd naar AnimeCon! ^^ Een half persoon, 't is wel weer wat nieuws! xD Trouwens, volgens mij kun je pas vanaf 7 uur erin en moet je er om 11 uur weer uit ('s avonds), dus weet niet precies... Met 60,- kan ik behoorlijk wat kopen. Maarja alles uitgeven doe ik ook niet hoor. Voor niet meer dan 25,- iets kopen en rest gebruiken voor eventuele verjaardagen/feestjes/what-so-ever en wat ik daarvan overhoud (dat zal ook nog wel veel zijn hoor) gebruik ik dan voor Cons. En als ik naar een Con ga krijg ik toch altijd minstens 50,- extra van mijn ouders mee. ^^ Ooh, klinkt vet! Grotbiken, ka? Lijkt me echt heel stoer. ;3 En we hadden hier pas ook een roofvogeldemonstratie, maar ik ben niet geweest. We waren gisteren bij een of andere verjaardag en daar zei ons mam in een keer Nee. Was geen leuk moment. Maar ik heb haar kunnen overhalen dat ik naar de Saturday Only mag gaan! =D Ik had alles uitgelegd enzo dat het allemaal zou worden geregeld en dat het niet zo moeilijk is, maar ze vindt me nog steeds te jong. Ook al ben ik dan 15... T_T Ach ja, één dag is ook leuk. Kan ik alsnog voor 200,- gaan shoppen. :P Trouwens, op Archonia heb je echt hele leuke aanbiedingen. Ik ben van plan om iedere twee maanden iets te kopen (ik krijg 30,- zakgeld per maand). Het plan is om alles te krijgen van: FuruBa en Ouran High. Zowel anime DVD's als manga, en keychains en plushies. + nog een bobblehead van Shigure. >3< Is echt geweldig! Poeh poeh.. ben nu Kodomo no Omocha aan het volgen. In eerste instantie zei ze nee toen ze de prijs in totaal hoorde, en ze zei ook nee omdat ik net naar een Con was geweest en te jong zou zijn. ''Gelukkig is het pas volgend jaar, dan kan ik weer sparen en ben ik 15, geen 14 meer. Yeah? Picture that in mind? 15? En het is maar eens in het jaar en alles wordt geregeld, tot aan het hotel toe!'' waren ze exacte woorden die ik tegen haar zei. Toen kreeg ik iets van: ''misschien...'' terug, dus het is nog geen nee! =D Maar ook nog geen ja..
