| Nice start, GGO. We get to see how Kirito is persuaded to save the GGO World from Death Gun. Asuna & Kirito moments here and there. Sinon at the end was cool. Dat Bullet Time. 5/5 |

| The story looks really great on this. Why is there so much hate for episode 1 of a new anime? Of course they are going to spend time setting up the story. |
| An ok ep. It already looks like it will shape better then the other arc they had before. At least this time Kirito doesn't have an advantage like the last game. Pretty much the highlight of the ep for me was talking to that guy at the cafe like place. Talking about how the bodies smell and look while people are eating. Sent with Mal Updater |

| I won't lie, this was one of the better first episodes this season so far. Knowing this franchise it will get worse soon, but I hope the quality can stay on this level for a while longer. We managed to get 2 good episodes in S1, so please a bit more this time. The names are hilarious as usual, though: Death Gun.... 4/10 so far. |

| Amazing episode, good to see that so far the Light Novel is being stuck by. Still sad we are going to be missing Asuna during almost all of this arc but oh well. :p I cannot wait for some photon sword action! 10/10 <3 |

| It was okay. Like the first season's episode 1, it was fine. It will go shit later on though. But really, can't they do exposition right? So uninteresting. At least it's better than Mahouka. |

| Going to be honest... it was Boring. VERY Boring.Compared to Season ones brilliant and I-Want-MORE start, this was more like "when is the next ep out so finally something happens?" I know it's just episode one and there's a bit of backstory between SAO and GGO's arcs, but still.... |

| 5/5 Loved it. I enjoyed season 1 and it looks like I will also enjoy season 2. It may have just been talking almost the entire time but it was relevant and gets you into the right mood and mindset for the rest of the arc. |

| I been thinking about what is it about SAO II episode 1 that felt lacking compare to it's prequel... The music... I don't think I hear any good BGM so far, I hope this season's OST won't replace SAO season 1 OST as Kajiura's worst work... OP also drop down a notch (Then again, Lisa sang OP1 last season) ... Definitely a weaker start compare to last season. |

| I liked the ending scene thing with sniping shit. Shinon > Asuna. More Shinon, less Asuna please. Wasn't too bad, it was a good set up episode imo. 4/5 |

Sachi was the first really bad episode with all the forced drama and 13/14 were full of DEM and dumb twists. Compared to S1 this first episode is a bit less exciting and the stakes are lower, but it has somewhat solid pacing and Kirito's and Asuna's conversation wasn't cringeworthy for once. I hope it can keep this level. |

| Sure was an underwhelming and boring start to the season. Just compare the first episode of the first season to this one... Clearly, not enough exposition in this episode! Oh, well. At least we're done with it. |

(Fishing episode, where they touch on players who don't work on clearing the game, and expressing fear of real life after being absent for too long, such as social backlash and potential bankruptcy) |

Fast paced way. Not that there was to much talking, it was the feel of the episode that made it feel boring. |

Most video game characters are named "Dick_WaffleScope" So id call Death Gun fairly creative. |
