| According to a scan from the upcoming issue of Shueisha's V Jump magazine, a new Dragon Ball Kai anime series will premiere on Sunday, April 6th. The new series will cover the Majin Buu Saga. Dragon Ball Kai aired from April 2009 to May 2011 and was a remastered version of Dragon Ball that adhered more to the manga's story. | Oh, so this is the presumed fruit of making new Dragon Ball movies? But we're not really getting any new content storywise. I'll watch it because the Majin Buu arc was a drag in the original, want to see what they make of it. If this is well received hopefully Toriyama will direct an Anime continuation if not write some more Manga. |

| The worst Dragonball arc after the timeksip is finally getting the HD treat. Good to see they finish the project, but content-wise this is sadly not worth watching. |

| Not watching this, just like I didn't watch DBZ Kai before Buu saga. I could never get used to the japanese voice for Goku. I'd rather stick with the old DBZ and I don't have problem watching the dragged out stuff anyway, and also, I can fast forward if I want to. |

| I love the Dragon Ball franchise, but I have never seen Kai. Most likely won't see it anyway because unless the series gets fully reanimated I don't see the point. Better off with re-watching Dragon Ball Z. Also, since it's taking over Toriko's timeslot, I can safely assume Toriko is going on hiatus... which is good, because the anime is catching up rapidly to the manga now and hopefully we'll get some better animation when it comes back. |

| YES! I was so disappointed when the first season ended at the Cell saga ='(. That's where I stopped watching the anime back during the Toonami days... The re-cut version spoiled me with having no fillers, so I was looking forward to the Buu saga in Kai. When it didn't happen, I figured I would've picked up the regular season and finish the show once and for all... but yea... 3 years ended up passing before I could get to that and now here I am =/ hmm, where did that time go? |

| Didn't care for the Kai series at all, the old version is good enough. I might look up some selected episodes, (Goku vs Vegeta, Vegeto, final fight against Buu) to see how the HD version turns out, though. :) |

| Hopefully they won't use a new soundtrack and use the same one from the original like in the last two episodes of Kai. Dragon Ball Z without the original soundtrack is just boring, especially if the new soundtrack is anything but ORIGINAL haha. (referring to the fact that the Kai OST composer ripped off other songs) |
