| Awww... nice ending I guess, but it didn't give any closure on anything. If there wasn't a second series I'd feel robbed. I feel sorry for Sasada, even though at times she does appear a bit crazy and stalkerlike. Natsume is just far too gay to notice her. |

| As an ending this actually sucked, but as a random center episode (which if you count the next season it is) it was about the same as all the others. Anyone have a link to a torrent of the complete 2nd season? |
| Woah, that guy really was tall. I love that little fox spirit. He's so adorable. This was such a heartwarming finale. I absolutely loved this show and all it's calmness. |

| Wow, for a moment there I thought that they were going to go yaoi in the end. LOL It was a nice and relaxing episode. I enjoyed it and it left me with a feeling of happiness. I had hoped that Natsume would develop a romantic relationship with that girl, but at least its a one-sided attraction. Every anime needs to have some sort of romantic relationship going. But still there are a few things unanswered in this episode, what/where did the other guy that can see spirits go to and what was the meeting about? I have a feeling that that will be reveled in the second season. |

And the whole reflection/pond thing was kinda cool too. It was really nice to once again see how much Natsume's guardians/caretakers/whatever care for him. He deserves to have a warm, caring home finally & they seem to be good people. I've just loved watching this show & can't wait to get started on the second season! ^.^ |

| Nice episode, nice series. Lots of nice characters. Everything's just nice, eh? I'm glad the little girl from ep 11 snuck back in. She is soooooooo cute. The little fox was kawaii too, running around in the tent. |

| Great ending. Seeing all the characters once again felt nice. =) Overall, this gets a 9/10 for being a calm & relaxing series that leaves a happy feeling after each episode. Season 2 here I go.. |
| Re-watched episodes from this lovely anime like 15 times, I totally love it <3 I'm a huge fan of Natsume, I love his character... this episode was so nice, I loved the friendship development between Tanuma and Natsume ~~<3 10/10, love this anime |

| Personally I'm not a big fan of this series. I just didn't like how every episode really had nothing to do with the previous. I did, however, really like the characters. I hope the next season is more eventful and includes the other characters more. Overall I gave this series a 7/10. |

| I didn't expect much starting this anime. Heck, I didn't know why I had watched it in the first place. But I sure am glad I did! This is a very sweet and peaceful anime. It's calming, relaxing, heart-warming, and overall feel good series. Natsume and Nyanko-sensei make one awesome duo and I had fun with them in their journeys. Though the one problem I had was the animation. Brains Base had made Baccano and Durarara which have top quality art and animation, but I feel like they made Natsume Yuujinchou lazily and with little effort. Oh well, it's the story that got to me this time. 8/10 but a very high 8. :) |
| Great ending to a wonderful season, such a nice show, it makes me so happy and floaty ^~^ But Ainex had to go ruin it by adding a gay joke at the end, pissed me off >.> 9/10 |

| It doesn't offer a conclusion (because there is more), but it's one of the best, if not the best episode of this season. The way everyone appears and interacts in this last episode is very well-executed with great laughing and smiling moments. I'm not a fan of this type of episodic narrative, but the characters and fantastic stories Natsume Yuujinchou presents each episode is enough for me to keep going. A good 7/10. |

| Natsume Yuujinchou is an interesting case. It doesn't have the qualities required for "masterpiece" rating, yet it's a very pleasant watch. And hard to hate, even though some of the plot pieces in it would normally irritate me. Might be a textbook example of "really good, though not amazing" anime. |

| lol now Nyanko has another name...and that fox kid is so cute <3 Glasses girl on the other hand is annoying and should just go away. Overall this is a wonderful series, very entertaining and relaxing. I also see a lot of myself in Natsume so watching him is rather fun :) I expected more story-wise, but can't really say I'm disappointed. This still turned out to be good in the end~ |

| Nice ending for a nice season. I really expected something more dramatic for this one, but I guess we're watching Natsume Yuujinchou after all. Nynko-sensei was hilarious as ever. I'm looking forward to season 2. The foxy-boy showed again I didn't see this coming. Ponta! 1. Characters. +1. Actually the characters are quite well designed. Natsume for an instance, even though Reiko is even more of an interesting one for me. She's veiled in mystery at this point nonetheless. And of course Nyanko-sensei - the show wouldn't be as much entertaining as it's now if he wasn't in there. 2. Atmosphere. +1. The atmosphere is nice, calm and actually quite realistic despite the supernatural setting. 3. OST. +1. The OP is really good. I haven't heard much enough out of the OST, but I'll give it a point. 4. Animation. +1. This anime has very good animation design imo. It fits perfectly with all the setting, the atmosphere and all the other aspects of this show. 5. Background story. +1. This is probably the first anime I'm watching mainly because of the background story. It's not like I'm interested in how is Natsume living through his everyday life this much. Reiko's story is something else - even though I haven't seen much out of her story she's my favorite character, so is her story. 6. Storyline. I don't know if that's something bad, but this show didn't really have real story. I'm ok without it, but it would have felt better if there was some kind of story. Even Jigoku Shoujo, being somewhat close to Natsume Yuujinchou because of it's stand-alone episodes, has a story. 7. Ending. I didn't really feel like I got much of an ending - the lighthearted thirteenth episode wasn't bad, but still I expected something more out of it. 9. Drama. Yet another point less for this show. The stories were kind of moving at times, but still they wasn't really dramatic. Lightheartedly nice nonetheless. 10. Overall feeling. +1. Natsume Yuujinchou has some nice, tranquil feeling which can't be explained in words. It's not something you'll see often. I don't regret watching it even if I think it could've been done better. Overall score: 7/10 |

| I didn't expect any real development from this last episode but Kaname learning about Nyanko-sensei and Natsume's abilities sure was some. And it was nice to see some of the characters from earlier episodes again. |
| Episode one, I started watching because I was bored. Twelve episodes later, I have the rest of the series lined up with excited anticipation to finish each one. The show did a superb job at drawing me in, more than I thought was possible from the synopsis and reviews I had read. It's really hard for me to put my finger on it, but something about it really appealed to me. Art, music, characters? Maybe just an excellent blend of everything. One of my new favorites, for sure. |
