Both are set in a world that is quite normal on the first look (one is a bit more futuristic though) but involve supernatural occurrences, like magicians or people with abnormal powers.
The atmosphere is quite similar, though the plot of Shakugan no Shana is a lot darker/heavier at the start of the show.
To Aru is basically SnS with magic instead of swords or the other powers and a bit more comedy. Animation is quite similar, due to the fact both anime are by JC Staff. Not that it matters, but the openings are also by the same person. Overall, To Aru simply gave off a similar vibe to SnS.
Supernatural main girl, guy with hidden powers and similar plot ^^
In both of these series the lead boy is made to be with to the lead girl due to reasons revolving around magic. Also, the story lines are both based around magic and the like.
Shana and Index are both made from the same staff team. Both are J.C Staff productions and they share a lot of similarities in terms of animation. And both their OP songs are from Kawada Mami, which sang both of the first Shakugan no Shana OPs.
The shows give a very similar feel to each other. Neither should be missed.
Very similar style and has many similarities. If you like one of these, you will definitely like the other.
Hmm ..... smilar story line , similar heroes but this time guy is a big hero , of course exist little romantic plot . That anime is very good in my opinion , one of the best i this Fall ....
- Both have a similar animation / art style
- They both involve magic and magical fights
- They both have lots of vague and complex love situations with some awkward moments
I love J.C. Staff and Index is just like Shana without the tsundereness. Character designs are very similar in these two animes. It's just more J.C. Staff goodness. Can't get enough of J.C. Staff.
Both are from the same staff team, both are similar in animation and plot (kinda) Both have OPs sung by the same person.
To Aru Majutsu no Index is on a higher level than Shana at .. well.. everything. But they deal with similar eerie and supernatural situations, have teenagers which get in these weird moments that change their live's forever. Though some characters are similar, both shows are different on a lot of things, but they share the same feeling when watching them.
Both shows have very similar art. Both have opening songs sung by Mami Kawada. Plot is similar as new people with new supernatural powers keep coming and affect protagonists in some way. Extremely similar feel.
Main female protagonist with special powers + male protagonist with hidden powers. Maguc + relationships. Both shows share the similar feeling.
The magic battles, the character types, the humor....
I don't know what else I should list.
And there's of course the Shana-tan and Index-tan specials.
both series are about magic and action, same studio, and similar feeling. if you like Index, then you might like Shakugan no Shana, and vice-versa
Both series have Action,Comedy and a supernational feel to them.
if you like shana you might just like Index as well.
Both SnS and Index are produced by J.C. and incorporate much of the same magical elements. As expected, the art and animation employed in both are very similar, and overall they portray similar moods and tones (Index is like SnS with less moe).
Both are made by J.C. Staff, and both involve a male character with an odd power meeting a tsundere female character. Yet another similarity is that both have to do with magic and special powers. If you liked one, you'll most likely enjoy the other.
Both series contain the same vivid feeling. First, we have the normal boy who gets involved into a world that he's not too familiar of. Additionally, the main boy is virtually useless but is surprisingly hardworking and strives to protect what he cares about.
Both series also contain supernatural elements involving magic.
Both series also are produced by J.C. Staff even the music has a similar feel.
Both series also has intertwined stories drawn from various angles involving the other main and supporting characters.
Comedy involved, Team battle, Same production, Magical
-flame haze vs tomogara = science vs religion
-Similar character designs
-same production staff
-main male character has no powers
The characters are too similar, both also revolve around a supernatural theme as well as the implication of romance in both series--even though not properly expressed

Cute little girl = magic book directory; she's in the care of a male who doesn't know much about 'that sort of thing' but accepts his new lifestyle.
The above is the most importiant element of both series's, however the simalarities end there...
Dantalian features the two amins traveling together, meeting unusual people and solving obscure mysteries.
'Index is an action series which features a case of familiar shounen character types.
Both have small girl that has multiply book in their body .
- Both have a loli with books inside their body.
- Both have some nice designs.
Both Index and Dalian have a library of forbitten knowledge in them.
You have Index who stores every magical tome some forbidden in her head and you have Dalian gateway to forbidden books, both are the keepers oof an enormous wealth of information.
Both have girls who have a magical book archive stored within them, which can in both can lead to danger if they fall into the wrong hands.

Both involve very high tech cities that also have slums.
Both center around "special boy meets special girl"
Both have Mechs and people with special powers
Both have secret police/army in their city
A boy meets a special girl and finds himself dragged into a world of danger that he previously didn't know existed. Both boys, Touma and Shu, find themselves fighting against an enemy to protect something. Great art, great characters, great music.
Both worlds have a similar feel that draws you in. As they say: "when science and magic meet... They will beat the crap out of you."
Although I'm not sure if there's magic in Guilty Crown yet.
Both show the protagonists fighting against a corrupted government obsessed with power and control. The main male protagonist also has special 'powers' in his right hand in both Animes.
In each anime a boy holds a power in his hand that can change the world.
The leads' right hands hold superpowers. Index is so much better though.

Random guy who is kind hearted, meets cute girl in random circumstances. Girl happens to be related to some kind of supernatural power, and thus boy gets thrown into a choatic world of fighting, action, complex strange new principles, etc.
The atmospheres are quite similar, and both deal with people who can use certain kinds of magic.
Steiner and Excel (Kurokami) seem to be somewhat like Kanazaki and Stiyl (To Aru Majutsu no Index). They both had confrontations with the main characters and faught to either kill them or take them somewhere (mostly directed to Index and Kuro). Although after awhile, they became companions with the main characters.
Reishin (Kurokami) and Izzard (To Aru Majutsu no Index) were both seen as the main threat, but half way through the series it changes to someone else.
To Aru Majutsu no Index has multiple sets of characters who come from specific 'Church's' and are sent to take out the main characters, while Kurokami have people from different 'Clans', also set to take them out and obtain power.
Kuro and Index both seem to be important to their respective areas. Index being important as she has 103,000 of the grimoires stored in her memory, and Kuro as she is the princess of her tribe. They both encounter somewhat regular high school boys who both have their lives changed afterwards.
In the two serie, a boy meet a girl with strange power and their is people who want to catch her.
Both series contain a similar main female protagonist with a huge appetite for food when they first mysteriously meets the main male protagonist.
Both series gets somewhat darker as the episodes progresses.
Both series has a mixture of comedy, drama, fantasy, action, and romance.
Both series features magical battles.

Both stories have very big settings.
Both stories feature organizations' conflicts
Both stories have some creepy characters.
Both stories have massive amount of characters. Currently, Index>Durarara!! though.
Both anime show us story about big city life. There are few organisations fighting with each other and on the other side we can see daily routine of quite untypical teenagers. Both series have a large number of heroes. Each of them has its own personality, individual traits, habits and vices.Their fate is often intertwined with each other, complicating the whole story-line. Consummate sociologist will definetly find himself in both stories. However, the plot in Durarara!! is conducted in more mature way.
Both are supernatural action/drama/comedy storylines (although less of the comedy in Durarara and more of the action in Index). They both take place in epic urban settings and incorporate science fiction and fantasy into the same world in interesting and creative ways. The supernatural elements of both shows are explained just as much as they need to be and are really cool to watch.
The characters are pretty different, although some parallels can be drawn between the supporting cast if you really try? But the main characters (Touma and Mikado) are both the same sort of "not necessarily a nice-guy-stereotype but incredibly moral and dedicated to their friends to the end kind of guy, and the female leads (Misaka and Index, and Celty and Anri) are unique and interesting in their own ways. The anti-heroe type characters are easier to draw similarities between, seeing as Accelerator is kind of the nightmarish combination of Shizuo's ridiculous strength and desire to not have to fight plus Izaya's attitude, pragmatism and general sociopathy.
Also the soundtrack in both shows is phenomenal. Like really, even if you don't watch either show, go look up the soundtrack to both because they are amazing.

Both anime deal with the paranormal and magic. There are mysterious societies in both shows that seem to act the same. In addition, the main protagonist in both shows are surrounded by a plethora of girls that seem to have an affinity for him.
Both give off the same magical feeling and a typical romance
There is magic and religious factions present where they really don't belong, but it feels as though they do at the same time.

One of the main things that makes them similar is a whole super power thing.
In both series we have a girl who can teleportate and a guy who can nullify any of those attacks.
In a way, both of these series reminds me of one and the other.
Both series features the theme of espers who inherits supernatural abilities in a city like setting. There seems to be drama, action, and some comedy presented in both series. Zettai Karen Children: The Unlimited - Hyoubu Kyousuke has a more serious feeling with Index maintains more of a lighthearted atmosphere. However, both series explores the idea of espers and their powers.
Both series also has a super power like theme.
Both anime series involve Espers with unique abilities, and both main characters have the same ability which is the power to repel/negate the abilities of other Espers.
Similar main characters in the guy and girl teaming up to defeat the greater evil. Also from the same company, so there are some of the same plot-driven ideas in both titles.
They have both similar concept and there both from the same novel company dengeki.
Both are wonderful J.C. Staff productions based off of light novels. Main man (Touma and Kinji) is a badass tasked with the responsibility of protecting the main girl (Index and Aria). Both series have an arcing story format.
Both involve the main protagonist becoming involved with a woman who comes from a world of magic, who then takes the responcibility of protecting the girl from the dangers to come.
They both have similar types of violence and magic, and occasional slightly scary sequences that in both animes gives off the same sort of vibe.
Although the level of TAMnI is higher than the one of Chaos Head. Both anime's deal with similar eerie events, mind bobbling experiences and good action.
The main protagonist of Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? seem to have some ability of stealing/disable magic, that remind me of Toaru Majutsu no Index. And both are harem/action anime
They both operate on the premise of being an action/drama, but have a lot of comedy moments thrown in (More in the case of Kore wa Zombie---). The main characters both end up with a harem, have some form of ability to absorb magic, and are both "average guys". The first female characters introduced in each series also have incredible magic powers, but are unable to use them unless the situation is dire. They also have some parallels in appearance.
Oh, and the fanservice quotient for both is through the roof.
The protagonists Shiro and Touma are both all about protecting and saving others regardless of any consequences. They both have limited amount of power but somehow manage to survive many fights against most powerful villains. The character constellation in terms of romances is quite the same, the protagonist is living with his main female compagnion and has another tsundere-type love interest which is more loosely connected.
Both are basing on magic, supernatural powers and fights. Characters of protagonists are identical: Shirou is similar to Touma, because both of them wish to protect all people despite of everything; Rin and Misaka are both tsundere.
Both series deal with mature teenagers going through a great struggle to achieve some bigger goal, going to particular adventures, fighting for their lives. All the hardships they go through, together with friends and comrades, is in both series almost similar. Sometimes the characters are a bit more childish in FMA², but both series deal with alot of the same elements.
Both animes tells about supernatural powers. Fullmetal Alchemist is about alchemy and Toaru Majutusu no Index is about superhuman powers and magic. There are also a little bit alchemy in Toaru Majutsu no Index which makes these animes pretty similar.
In both shows, the main protagonist gets a whole new view of the world. Namely through Magic/Alchemy and Death Gods/Restorations. They end up in a difficult plot, which can get themselves or the people they want to protect killed. Both situations get out of control as a higher evil organization starts to meddle.
Both action-packed, with the needed amount of humor and variaty of characters.
Main character meets a girl who he tries to save and she introduces him to a world of mages and magic. Has the same feeling as Bleach and both Ichigo and Touma share similar personality traits.
both have many girls
both have kickass women
both the boys have special power
both main characters of the anime have dark past.
both have one tsundere character beside them
Main characters have a similar ability to not be affected by others' powers / curses.
Main female lead are extremely similar in their purpose and abilities as dangerous artifacts.
Villains are similar as members of secretive and powerful organizations.
Ultimately, they are both anime which focus on supernatural powers and the dynamic between the male protagonist and his ever-growing harem of cute girls.
+Both got cool main male character.
+Both got girls beside them.
+Both got Action, Magic, Sci-Fi, Super Power.
+Both main male characters don't like rules and stuff.
+Both got Hi-Tech Academy city .
+Both got main male character who pisses of others.
Toaru Majutsu no Index and Hagure Yuusha no Estetica has several similarities:
Both series has elements of science fiction as well as magic.
Both series features action, drama, comedy, and super power themes.
Both series has a similar general feeling.
Both series has a main protagonist who has strange bonds with the other female cast.
Both series' academies trains students to control their abilities and learning how to use them.
Both series' main protagonist has a indifferent outlook on life with little care of "rules".

The same reason I (and many others) reccomended To Aru Majutsu no Index to those who liked Shakugan no Shana.
Both give off a very similar vibe. Both have very intriguing plots. The art in both is similar especially during action scenes due to the many special effects used. Both have pretty much the same genres except To Aru Majutsu no Index has more comedy.
-the city setting with the academy and the working robots are exactly the same
-also alike that the main charas shiro/index have trouble remember things from the past and the magic typ of using the elements and creating Bariers too look pretty much alike
Nekos animal form and spinx could be also the same
the only thing is that toaru majutsu explains the Charas more but more backbone and Feelings into theim and the Fights are more of a View witch is why i Thing
Toaru Majutsu Kicks Ass and K is even soo its alot alike a complete let down
• The city setting with the academy and the working robots are exactly the same.
• Both male leads have trouble remember things from the past.
• Neko's animal form and Spinx could be also the same.

Index has a powerful secret, like Reverie from EG. They look and act similar. The male protagonists both don't know why they're protecting her, and in parallel an organisation also want to protect her from someone who could exploit her power.
I really don't know but these seem so familiar. a guy meets a girl who gets caught up with the problems they bring along. both have action and will keep you watching.
Both have a relatively normal, academic underachiever high school boy with supernatural abilities having to protect a mysterious girl with a mysterious power who is introduced at the beginning of the show. There are plenty of other secondary characters in the show, some of whom are good and some of whom are evil, who have unique powers of their own. The two shows have an extremely similar feel to them.
Watch It After A While Youll Realize That They Have A Similar Stor. Like At The Begining A Girl Came Out Of Blue.
- Both are set in a world that is quite normal on the first look (one is a bit more futuristic though) but involve supernatural occurrences, like magicians or people with abnormal powers.
- Both male protagonists are badass. Touma with his Imagine Breaker and Kazuma with his affinity to fire
Both main characters have a cool ability of some sort. They both start off kind of weak but then get stronger (not throughout the story but more in the beginning). They are both really fun to watch.
Both main characters have some god-defying powers and throw crazy punches. They both have strength that all other pussy main characters dont have, starting off strong and staying consistent throughout the anime
If you liked accelerator from index, and you like some comedy, then this show is pretty great and I hope it can get a second season after the first is done!
Both have elements of magic and gods and a reluctant yet selfless hero. Battles and magic circles galore.
Similarly styled battle shounen series.
Similar main character personality and has action with side comedy
This is similar to To Aru Majutsu No Index because, it has a sort of supernatural feel
and also it has something to do with church.
Similarities -
> They both have generous doses of action and humour.
> They both have interesting variety in action.
> They both have elements of typical school anime.
Differences -
> The plot settings slightly differ. Accel World is set in a school/VR MMORPG background and Toaru Majutsu no Index in a super-power loaded city.
> The main characters of the anime differ in their styles of thinking.
In short, they are similar enough for you to enjoy both and distinct enough for you to not find one to be a rehash of the other.
sick love, need anything more?
Both have a similar plot about magicians in a significant magic wise. Even the clothes of a few pristess are the same on each one, but at Zero no Tsukaima it's like a tribute to To Aru Majutsu no Index.
You can say Merry is very similar to Index, both stubborn at first. Not willing to let anyone help them out, but after a certain incident, the boy promises the girl to help no matter what. Little by little, the boy gets drag into a different world of magic or dream.
It leans more toward the action/ adventure section than romance. But i can say one thing, it will keep you watching it from beginning to end b/c it is very interesting in term of the plot.
To Aru Majutsu No Index ( When Magic And Science Cross Path )
But, Moshidora ( When Business And Sport Cross Path )
The world of magicians+espers vs the world of weapons users+Tao users. the character development steps are similar. Both of them are really worth to watch
Ban mido in GetBackers is kid of the same person in a way he uses his left arm to use make a move called snake bite and Touma Kamijou uses a movie that destroys magic and the are preformed in the same way and people have natural ability's like a girl has lighting ability exactly like Ginji Amano in GetBackers
The same ability's but a hole different story and show
- sci-fi
- both deal with the supernatural
- cast from both series is very similar (character personalities)
- male protagonist that somehow gets involved
I watched Toaru no Index before Haruhi no Yuutsu.
When I was watching Haruhi, during some moments it felt like I was rewatching Toaru no Index.
They are extremely similar, but also have many differences.
If you like one, I strongly suggest you try the other.
Yes, if you are a Death Note fan, I highly recommend you give Index a shot if you haven't already. It's longer and more complicated that Death Note, but if you really get into both stories, you'll see a few similarities.
both have the same feel. characters are similar and one guy is surrounded by a bunch of girls
A boy in a student dorm cares for many girls and cats^^
Both have a sense of humor.
The difference is the main genre, slice-of-life vs superpower/action.

its Parent story to Toaru Kagaku no Railgun, its mostly same, but Toaru Kagaku no Railgun i about a girl who is one of secondary mane char's in this anime, but Toaru Kagaku no Railgun she is main protagonist, most of the story takes place before Toaru Majutsu no Index story begins.
Some people have powers, some people don't. Toaru Majutsu no Index is more action-oriented, both shows are as much about relationships and people as anything else, this anime also has religion in it, mane char girl named Index some others chars then English Anglican Church & Rome Church, ton't want to spoil so i say 1 thing, mane char & Index are dragged in to conflict between this 2 Churches & 1 is good & other i bad, rest i laeve to u to find out, ton't want to spoil here :)

It's tough being a schoolboy who can't catch a break.
Then suddenly, you find yourself surrounded by women who only want what's best for you.
Touma and Minato are very similar characters. Granted, their fighting abilities are different, but their women pack an equal punch. Standing up for those they love and fighting against an entire city-controlling government as well as some other factions. No shortage of women getting punched in the face either. Equality!

- The protagonists Luffy and Touma are both all about protecting and saving others regardless of any consequences. They both have limited amount of power but somehow manage to survive many fights against most powerful villains. They continue to grow with each battle and gain new companions in their journey.
- Both are compromised mostly of comedy, action, and fantasy elements

Both have this ideal feeling like "nobody is evil" and stuff like that
In both, the characters frequently deal with crisis situations.
The two animes give off almost the same vibe, though, they are very different.
Both male protagonists are constantly walking in on girls while they're undressing...
Both series involves around espers that are measured by levels that determines their degree of powers.
Both series' main male protagonist has similar personalities and are protective to those he cares about. They often go through lengths to help others in need.
Both series features some super power themes and antagonists who also has their own supernatural abilities.
Both series also contains comedy, drama, and even some romance.
also that "nobody is evil" feeling :)
Spoiler: in this series, people can be crazy but not evil lol
The main characters of Toaru Majutsu no Index and D.Gray-man are both similar in the way that they possess unusual powers even in a world where unusual powers are not so unusual (Allen's cursed eye, Touma's right hand). Both of them have similar heroic tendancies, saving people because they need to be saved - Allen with his mission to save both humans akuma, and Touma who will save anyone who even looks like they might cry out "help me". Both series also have a great cast of characters who you quickly feel you are connected to.
Another thing I liked and found similar was the way of naming the "powers" in each series. In D.Gray-man Innocence recieves a name from its user eg Dark Boots, Mugen etc. In Index they also have names for their powers, eg Railgun, Imagine Breaker, Auto-Rebirth.
And one of the best things about both these animes is that despite the fact that everything might be getting darker, despite the fact that things are getting destroyed all over the place, despite the tragedy that may be going on and the bad guys who keep getting more powerful, both Index and D.Gray-man have their funny moments. One of the best things about these animes are the little filler moments where you can't stop laughing.
These are two of my favourites of all time.
Both interesting "shounens" with similar art style, great soundtrack, many action and battles with super powers, produced by the same studio.
In both of these series the lead boy is made to be with to the lead girl due to reasons revolving around magic. Also,This anime is mostly revoling aroung magic and other abilities. Both male main characters possess a somewhat different power than others... These two are definatley similar
Both series revolve around schools that have students with special abilities and show them how to use/control them. As well, it deals with the not so scholastically brilliant main character having nullification powers, and being caught in a love triangle.
They both involve different varieties of magic and have magical fights with opposing sides and such. They also both have complex and vague love situations and some episodes / mini arcs specifically for supporting characters.
Characters with powers, fights, magic, comedy, drama.
You'll probably like Toaru Majutsu no Index, if you liked Soul Eater and the other way round.
The plot may not be similiar, but they have similar flawless graphics style, cool and funny characters. (Index sort of reminds me of Patty Thompson at some points =D)
Also action and humour packed.
Magic, fights, main heroine is a loli, and both have a "crazy" white haired guy who is a villain at first, but in the end, he´s not really what he seems.
Magic battles have a big role, in which we get to see several different types of spells and magic users.
Stern Bild and Academy City are both similar in that they are technologically advanced cities home to millions of people, a number of whom have special powers. In Index they are students going though the Power Curriculum Program in order to become espers artificially. In T&B they are normal citizens with a certain genetic mutation that gives them special powers; several of these citizens use their powers for good and become Heroes. In the case of both series, those with powers can turn toward good or evil depending on their situation and beliefs, and at times are considered by others to be monstrous due to being different from normal humans.
Both shows feature characters, Touma and Captain Bright, that beat the shit out of whiny bitches with superpowers and can negate said superpowers when their right hands make contact with said whiny bitches. Awwwww yeah.
The main characters of both shows junpei and touma are extremely similar:
-They are both extremely unlucky (which leads to a lot of humor)
-Both main characters are laid back and fairly "normal" high school students
-They both have unusual abilities that almost always get them into unwanted trouble
Both series deal with the innovative and modernized version of magic. In both Gendai Mahou and To Aru Majutsu, different schools of magic are presented, from ancient magic to modern magic.
Ikki and Touma really look alike with those spiky hair and both have a strong sense of justice. Both also fall under the action genre. The action sequences will really hook you up.
The main character in each series is a spikey-haired idiot who repeatedly saves people regardless of who they are - friend, enemy, ambiguous. Whoever needs saving at the time, it doesn't matter what their status is, it's no reason to influence whether they should be saved. Both spikey-haired idiots - Touma and Ueki - have a certain view on justice. Ueki lives for following his own justice to the point of challenging opponents who threaten that justice, and Touma repeatedly punches people in the face while lecturing them, and believes in seeing everyone have a happy ending, with no casualties, even if he ends up getting mangled in the process. On top of that, Accelerator and Robert have a lot of similarities, the former being the most powerful esper in the world and the latter being a ten-star Heavenly Being. They are ruthless, seemingly all-powerful, dislike having to fight (for different reasons - Accelerator wants people to see him too powerful to fight in the first place, and Robert loses years of his life from using his abilities too much), and both boys were ostracized by others as monsters from a young age that resulted in some serious destruction of the city they lived in. Then, the Robert-Ueki and Accelerator-Touma dynamics are also similar.
Both series also have characters with unusual types of powers - in The Law of Ueki the various power users typically have one single power granted to them from a God Candidate, and in Toaru Majutsu no Index there are magicians and espers, the latter of whom can only have one single base power.
Index has a second season, so check that out as well.
i just think it has a similar feel to it, some serious fighting, but also involves a lot of comedy. :)
Weird powers, magic, if you like them, then both of these shows are for you.
Both are similar with :
- same kind of graphism
- Normal persons who become a person with somes powers.
- Romance " I'll protect you"
- Action & fightings.
Somehow, Hayate, and Kamjio Touma seem to have more in common. They both seem to get themselves into difficult, and usually awkward situations. The end result is either laughs, or some action scene, which are both present in both animes. This can recommendation can also be towards the first season, as well.
For a more simple similarity, they're both produced by JC Staff (Not the first season).

420 - Both are similar because they feature a reluctant, impotent but extremely invulnerable high school male main character, who continuously finds himself saving (passive) aggressive females who become enamored with him. Though Toaru Majustu never really commits to just one female, and Bakemonogatari is more sexually charged.

In both you can find a lot technology like robots/androids.
And there will be a boy that wont be lucky/happy thats finds
a girl and takes her in.
Both girls Flower/Index are hyper, happy and got problems white
their memorie.

♫the main protagonists (Tomoharu and Touma) just keep going into fights for the sake of their dear female friends♫
♫both series have supernatural elements and wonderful art♫
♫both main protagonists are surrounded with female friends that seems to have feelings for him♫

It seems me that esper abilities in Index/Railgun are very similar to Needless's abilities here. And Touma's "Imagine Breaker" is as unique as Adam's "Memorisation".

Kinda similar awesome art and animation. There are levels(breaker) that we didn't know. There are some cute lolis like Rose and Misaka in To Aru Majutsu No İndex.

Their not really about the same thing but the but This and Toaru Majutsu no Index both have the same Animation and art work

Nun loli Index-tan has forbidden knowledge contained in "103,000" magic grimoires. Loli character Al Azif from Demonbane is a book. Literally. Oh and there's also magic in both and lots of pew pew.

Although both series are placed into total different settings, the eerie vibes, the fights and certain characters are pretty similar in a good way. The plot's and story develop on a different way tho' (as they are different), but they can be watch afters seeing one of the other.

They both have a lot of action and similar types of magic, and they both are drawn in very similar styles. There's a lot of other little details that make them similar, and it was the first show I thought of while watching it.

To me they give off the same feel.

They both involve a school separating students into rankings of sorts, and they both include action scenes and romance undertones.
