Yes, Shinji is acting like any teenager would. Life isn't some shonen anime where you're an amazing hero just like that. People who dislike Shinji should go back to watch Naruto or Death Note, NGE is not that kind of show.

Rei's personality is an interesting aspect too. Everyone calls her a robot because no emotions, but she just doesn't know how to express them. Considering the identity crisis and all that's pretty much expected and no one could judge her for that. The scene where Rei smiles to Shinji is a good one.

Well like I said, maybe I will change by mind about EoE after watching it again. I don't dislike sad endings other, only somehow prefer happy endings, of course not always some kind of cheesy Disney endings haha. I think that the ending of the series was just perfect. I don't know what was lacking. An emotional climax with Shinji accepting himself and everything, the last episode even caught me off guard and made me cry a bit, I didn't expect that. It was a pretty clear ending too (am I the only one who thinks so?). EoE's ending left me a nasty feeling, which probably was the point though. It is weird. Not really as rewarding or satisfying as the series ending, but interesting.

I saw that you're watching Plastic Memories, what do you think? Any good? I've "heard" people talking about it, but I don't really know should I start watching it, maybe after it's finished because I rarely like watching anime that are still airing.

That is pretty high! :o I like being complimented about my taste in the chinese cartoons, thank you very much. :3 It seems we mostly like the same kind of stuff, but your list suffers from a severe lack of Aikatsu, you have to remedy that. :P

That's pretty much me. Honestly I'm fairly new to listening to All Time Low but I've never actually had a "favorite band" before listening to them. I've been in the mood a lot lately, but it's still just a mood :P

I like pretty much every genre of music, especially Japanese music, but I watch anime so I'm biased for that stuff :P

I suggest doing your research beforehand. Also, don't copy what the tourists do, going to every "hot spot" within a week. It's pointlessly tiresome and not very enjoyable. I personally enjoy trying new food and exploring their culture so if you like that, then you can potentially be my gluttonous partner. As for music, I generally listen to whatever suits my mood. Electronic music when I'm feeling upbeat. Hip hop when I feel like being a tough guy. Instrumental when I need to get work done. And punk rock when I'm reminiscing about my teenage years. Music isn't my strong suit so accept this mediocre response.

Traveling is one of those "wanna do it a lot someday" activities. I've been exploring my city pretty often this past month though. So when that someday comes when you come to NY, I'll be good enough to navigate you around some cool places, assuming you are a serial killer. Is NY on your to do list because it's NY or because of actual reasons?
