I see, I understand where you're coming from...I am glad you like it though, and plan to finish it. Because I swear to you, it is so incredibly worth it!! The second half of the anime has a very different setting, tell me how you like it when you get to it ;) You are right, it really shows a lot of cruel scenes, but that somehow only connected me more tightly to the characters.

Okay. That kind of thinking has some validity. I will freely admit that when going out with friends to watch a movie, it's probably best to turn off your cynical brain and enjoy the show!

I'm not saying I'd mask my feelings about a movie that I didn't like, but I wouldn't keep complaining about it or be obnoxious about it. They went to the movie with me for all of us to have a good time, after all. I'm pretty sure it's going to be absolute shit. DBZ has its' appeal and nostalgia value as far as I'm concerned, but I'm having trouble imagining any value to this anime movie. But still, I'm going there to enjoy a night with a friend. I'll just turn off my brain, and then give it an honest rating on my list when I get back home.

Very recently I was considering for a moment to study Physics, and there's a very nice video I came across outlining exactly what I'd need to do in order to get it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kk8q500rYo4 - eventually I concluded that it is not a path for me, as my field of interests is directed more in the field of Information Technology. Still, if you want it bad enough, you can get it.


By the way, I didn't even realize that you watched Zetsuen no Tempest as well.

I really feel jealous about the Maria figurine.. I really wanted to get some Umineko swag, however it's rather hard to come by - and I'm too lazy to order some. Other than perhaps the Manga, which I am currently in the process of collecting. This August however, my job requires me to go to Gamescom this year and as usual at large gaming conventions - there's TONS of anime-related swag for sale (was there last year).


Playing Umineko? You're playing my favourite story of all time, there! I actually started off trying to watch the anime, had mixed feelings after about 3 episodes until I decided to read one of the reviews - which told me I should read the VN rather than watch the anime for the best experience. I did not leave disappointed!
