On anime hiatus because of grad school

About me:
- Got into anime at age 9 with Bleach, followed by Naruto and then DBZ
- Favorite series is either Fate/stay night, Umineko, Attack on Titan or Your Lie in April.
- Favorite game is Ocarina of Time
- Marth main in Smash Bros.
- Working on a PhD in astronomy (my research is on the biggest stars in the universe)
- Favorite music genres are rock and jazz
- Been playing piano for a few years. Got inspired to do so by the YouTuber marasy8
- My original username was a dumb pun but I got lazy when changing it, so I just removed everything after the C

Rating system:
My ratings usually refer to the franchise as a whole rather than any single season (though I may include an individual season if it's much better or worse than the rest of the show). I briefly include my thoughts in the tags.

The meaning of the ratings are:
10 — Doesn't need to be perfect, but it goes above and beyond. Hard to describe, but there's a unique feeling of awe I get when I've finished these shows.
9 — One of my favorites
8 — Really enjoyed it.
7 — Liked it, though it does have some significant flaws.
6 — Decent, but didn't particularly like it.
5 — Mediocre, though some enjoyment can be salvaged.
4 — Mostly a waste of time, and actually painful to watch if it drags on.
3 — Frequently a pain to watch
2 — No value in this show
1 — Genuinely repulsive (e.g. the two episodes straight of torture scenes in Tokyo Ghoul).
