Im really glad you liked it, because personally I have only watched the first episode. And gave rec because other peoples reviews were positive and you said "go crazy", originally I wasn't gonna give you that but those two words made me. So I'm very glad :)

I agree with you, the first part was definitely a lot better but my reasons are quite different. The first part had a much smaller and more unique cast of characters and had a lot less going on so it was very easy to follow and enjoy. I felt as if the second part introduced way too many characters with very little differences in personality and I felt as if there were 5 differen't plots happening at once so it was pretty difficult to read through while remembering whats happened. Re is still good though, it's just that the first part was much better in my opinion

I'd like to clear my plate as well but my PTW list just keeps getting endless extra servings T_T

I see you have Tokyo Ghoul on your favorites, did you like re or the beginning series better though?

Thanks for the explanation, it seems like pretty interesting show, I really like shows that tend to have a unique artstyle and great story. It kind of reminds me Monster, its pretty overated compared to Mononoke but the praise it gets is very deserved, i'd recommend it if you like darker shows with a complex story and characters. It's set after around after the end of the cold war, all of my cold war fan friends absolutely loved it

I've been wanting to watch the anime for a few years now but i've never actually got around to watching it, what makes it so highly rated compared to most other horror anime?

From what I've heard the Bleach manga is a more enjoyable experience as well, it's much easier to just skimp through, skip or at least go faster through the less enjoyable stuff and focus on the good.
Hm, I mean, I enjoyed it, but I don't recommend it over other stuff you're interested in right now. It gets kind of weird and tries a lot of genres later on.

Yeah, that and sometimes you'll be surprised how well these hold up. There are shows I've rewatched 2, or 3 times and they're still just as fun. (Although there were also shows that really weren't that good as well)
Mh, Black Butler has a much stronger Manga, but yeah, I don't think you'd want to watch 300 episodes of Bleach twice. Maybe some highlights, or some of the earlier episodes only, but not more.

(Watch Tamers. Sure, it's written with kids in mind, but it's still very solid with great world building, lovable characters and a lot of development for all of it. The script is pretty dang good, too)

We all were more excited over the first ~ 20 or so anime we were watching when everything was new, original and shiny.
There are some I'm scared to rewatch because I get the feeling they're better off as a memory of good times. Digimon Adventure was a show I used to love, but after the catastrophe that was .tri and rewatching a couple episodes from the original show, I felt kind of let down by my memories. (Tamers is still great and the best Digimon experience overall though)
