My first non-Pokemon anime was Angel Beats followed quickly by Fullmetal Alchemist in the summer before my Sophomore year of high school. Since then I haven’t stepped out of the wide world of anime, and I’ve enjoyed seeing this industry grow in only a few years from this niche hobby I talked about in hushed whispers with a few friends to a global phenomenon. Even still, anime still manages to reach me on a personal level, so I think I’ll continue to stick around.

I’ve been at this for a long time now, watching between 500 and 1500 new episodes a year. I expected to slow down by this point or to have given up on this “anime phase” altogether. But here I am, years later, still going hard.

If you look at my list, please be sure to read the little reviews I write in the Tags for every entry. Note that I give a lot of shows a .5 score boost or detraction in the Tags, so I can more accurately score my shows. A show with a score of 8, but a 7.5 in the Tags is lower than a basic score of 8. And a score of 8 with an 8.5 in the Tags is lower than a score I give a 9 with an 8.5 in the Tags. Does that make sense? Most of the Tag reviews haven’t been touched since high school, so enjoy the cringe. (Although I do rewrite the review if I rewatch it at some point)
