Hey, Ashita no Joe is a great show I highly recommend both seasons. Season 1 might be a bit outdated animation wise but it has a lot of spirit and sets the foundation for the director Osamu Dezaki and character designer Akio Sugino

Just be aware that since the manga was not over back when season 1 aired near the end there is some filler episodes but season 2 picks up from the climax of season 1 and concludes the entire story.

I hope you have fun watching, I just re-watched a few years ago and still had the same impact from the first time I watched.

Wew, to be honest it has been almost 20 years since I last saw this anime. lol But I remember that i was enthralled by its cast of characters (especially the main character Oscar) and the mix of fiction and reality of the story. It is a very interesting mix of romance, politics and historical events. Its a bit dated in the visual department but I liked it very much when I saw it back in the day. I think it even made me cry at the end and every anime that manages to do this is an exceptional work in my book.

Hey there friend, I acually really want to ses a sequel of spirited away - after haku promised they meet again.
I also read Horimiya manga for like 7 years, and it only got 13 so episodes.
