ANN To Simulcast OreImo and Togainu [Update Oct 8]

According to Anime!Anime!, Anime News Network and Aniplex America announced that Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai will be simulcast on ANN streaming platform. The viewing method and the business model will be revealed later. ANN has been streaming old titles and trailers but OreImo will be their first new season anime to be simulcast.

ANN will also simulcast Togainu no Chi from October 13th. Streaming of OreImo will start on October 8th. SD quality will be available for free viewing and the pay service ($5 for one entire season) will offer HD (720p) quality.

The more legal options out there for currently airing shows the better no matter what it is or who it's from. Hope it works out for ANN too.

They were subbing Ookami-san even though FUNi had the show, so my guess is that they'll do the same with Imouto.

Will it be available in the UK? If it isn't, I couldn't care less, apart from thr fansub drops as a result (I don't know Mazui's policy on licensed titles, but I don't think they have ever subbed any.).
