Sounds like from their news release, the episodes air 6 days after they air in japan. Looks like Aniplex isn't taking another chance that they screw up again with some lazy security protocols.
Except that was pretty much the same schedule as before the leak.

Can the streaming department of ANN please, PLEASE, die in a ditch in favor of Crunchyroll as to actually license in countries outside of the USA (and/or Canada, Australia, but I'm not sure lol).

Even if that happened, there's a chance that it might not even licensed by anyone else.

Look what happened to Angel Beats(yet another Aniplex project). Everyone expected that to get picked up by CR, Funimation or Anime Network. But none of them did and people had to rely on fansubs to watch it.

Besides Crunchyroll has a full schedule of fall anime shows to air anyway.

so they are calling it a simulcast even though it's a week late? makes perfect sense.

This happens all the time with "simulcasting" of anime. Late to the party much?

not watching terrible week late streams apparently.

lol seriously what for they suspend it?

no point.

just made it harder for their local to watch it

Good for them! Hopefully, if all goes well, they'll look to start releasing their own Anime on DVD/Blu-Ray.

Heard about it and was happy for ANN to get the simulcast back. Hope it doesn't happen again.

I'm assuming you mean it's resuming after having been suspended for a month, since as far as I can tell, episode 6 of Oreimo airs on Sunday, which is 07 November, which would make this a one week delay in the broadcast. Japan isn't taking any chances on them, I see; they probably won't even get the raw video until it airs over there.

Anyhoo, good for them, I suppose. Let's hope they've learned how to properly secure their streams this time and maybe they've learned they shouldn't try to bend the truth in their favour in the future :|

Lol, 1 month delay... Good luck recovering from that one. Still it's nice they're getting back on track. "Better late than never" I guess?

And they ask themselves why people adhere more to fan-subbing groups...
