3D Movies of One Piece and Toriko Announced

According to Weekly Shonen Jump, 3D movies of One Piece and Toriko were announced to premier on March 19th, 2011. One Piece 3D is an original story about missing straw hat of Luffy.

there was a naruto 3D special episode.. and it looked gay-ish..

sorry you can say everything you like but that movie was awesome i bet you just being angry cuz you wont be able to watch and plus they dont care about you they care about japanese audience

Wow. One Piece looks shitty. If it were done the same way as that with Final Fantasy, then I'm all for it... probably. Then again they lack the budget. But why did they have to do it in 3D -__-

It looks terrible. I can't believe that's going to be the next movie. It looks like a PS2 cut scene, at best.

I am actually looking forward to it. I think that the fighting styles are perfect for 3D. I don't waste my money on theaters unless the movie is 3D anyway.

Yeah i don't know if i would like that Although you guys realize there is some 3d CG used in some of the openings of OP that isn't just pure art, its more 3 dimensional.

Do you mean the bit about the games? We've never gotten a game with as good fighting mechanics as the Naruto games. All we have is Grand Battle, which is more like a mediocre Power Stone clone and Gigant Battle which looks pretty cool, but it's 2D and nothing like the Naruto games. Of course none of them look as good as UNS2 either, mostly because the systems they were put on.

Clearly you haven't been playing the games I have.
All of the below are from the same series, on the Wii, have plenty of backstory and playable characters. Besides having 100s of hours of substance. On top of that, they are drawn in 3D with little cel-shading for modern titles and it looks solid.

I hope the Naruto games you are talking about are the Clash of Ninja series... As the Storm series are among the least competitive or expansive games I ever played in the fighting genre... >_>

The character models look pretty nice. I hope one day we get to see a One Piece game that looks that good and plays like UNS2.

I hope Toei doesn't consider this the next main One Piece movie.
