Sega's World of Destruction RPG to be animated

World of Destruction is an upcoming game for the Nintendo DS. The story revolves around Kirie, a boy, who has powers that could destroy the world. He is forced to join a group which aims to destroy the old world and create a new world again.

Production I.G will helm the production.

I haven't anything about this game at all, but usually with plots like this the people that want to create the world anew are on the antagonists side, I've actually been aching to see something like this with the protagonists trying to rebuild the world.

The synopsis is similar until you realize WD is a fantasy story and the similarities end here.
Either way, you cannot go wrong with the plot. Very Shin Megami Tensei-like.

Title of game sounds a little bland as does the plot. Still, the VA's make it sound more promising and the director worked on Tsubasa TR...

Guess I'll give it a shot when it airs.

Sounds interesting, I'm surprised Mamoru Miyano and Maaya Sakamoto are VA in it. Hopefully it will be better than most of the game to anime adaptations I have seen.
