Aniplex opened an official website for a television anime adaptation of Afro's Mono manga on Friday, revealing the main staff, a teaser promo, and a teaser visual (pictured above).

Staff
Director: Ryouta Aikei (Jujutsu Kaisen 2nd Season assistant director)
Character Design: Takuya Miyahara (Koisuru Asteroid prop design)

Afro (Yuru Camp△) began drawing the comedy manga in Manga Time Kirara Miracle! magazine in March 2017. Following the magazine's discontinuation, the manga transferred to Manga Time Kirara Carat magazine in December of that year. Looks like it was founded by a former Eight Bit/Encourage Films production assistant… bare interesting.

@perseii This manga is about a photography ("cinephoto") club. Both could be classified as essentially about girls going outdoors, but in this case it is not about camping but about taking and I guess editing pictures. I wouldn't be surprised if they have a lot in common though, since it's the same author and they like to insert their niche interests in their work. So I expect a lot of landscape, dogs and motorbikes in here as well.

Great to see more from Yuru Camp author, but... this looks like mostly the same thing.

Cute girls traveling around and just having a good time? What's different about this one?

Also, I've never seen an anime trailer done in 360° video before. Has it been done?

@VanishingKira I read what people wrote about this manga, mostly about how they were hungry after the food shown in the manga and how happy they were to see cameos from UC characters.

So, this is basically a spin-off of Yuru Camp with more of a motorbike ride and kitchen?

I didn't know Afro-sensei was drawing 2 mangas at the same time (・o・) As a big Yuru Camp fan, I'll make sure to watch this

Cool. It's by the creator of Yuru Camp, which is one of my favourite anime, so definitely looking forward to this. Didn't even know the mangaka was doing 2 manga at the same time.
