'Boku no Hero Academia' Gets 'Yuuei Heroes Battle' Special Episode
The official website of the Boku no Hero Academia (My Hero Academia) anime series announced a new original anime episode on Monday, subtitled Yuuei Heroes Battle (UA Heroes Battle). The website also revealed a key visual (pictured). Yuuei Heroes Battle takes place just before the Endeavor Jimusho Intern-hen (Endeavor Agency Arc) in the fifth season.
The original episode, along with the final three episodes of the sixth season (episodes 136–138 overall), will screen in ten theaters from October 20–26. Crunchyroll will host the episode's world premiere with an English dub at this year's New York Comic Con on October 13.
The episode will also stream on Crunchyroll in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Channel Islands, Malta, Gibraltar, Isle of Man, Australia, New Zealand, Central and South America, Scandinavia, Europe, Middle East, Africa, French Southern and Antarctic Islands and Ocean Pacific Islands at a later date.
Boku no Hero Academia adapts Kouhei Horikoshi's action superhero manga, which began in Weekly Shounen Jump in July 2014. Shueisha published the 38th volume on June 2.
The first anime season aired in 13 episodes in Spring 2016, followed by five other seasons in Spring 2017, Spring 2018, Fall 2019, Spring 2021, and Fall 2022 respectively—each running for 25 episodes. The three previous movies opened in Japanese theaters in August 2018, December 2019, and August 2021. A seventh anime season is currently in production.
Synopsis
The third year, Mirio Togata, pays a visit to the students of Class 1-A, who are bored because they are not allowed to go outside. He brings them a card game called U.A. Heroes Battle that the support course made. This game, where players can use cards of various U.A. students, is tough, just like U.A. itself. Who will win the card battle?! (Source: Crunchyroll)

I wonder if MHA will eventually become as extensive in terms of TV series, films and OVAs as Naruto or Bleach before the manga and subsequently the anime ends?
