Taiwan Ministry of Justice Distributes Japanese Manga To Prosecutors
Manga Aishiteru is written by Ito Minoru and about a juvenile murder case, where a ten year old boy killed a seven year old boy. Ito depicted the distress of the two families and the reconciliation between them. A live action TV drama was aired last year.

wouldn't PRC be even shorter than that though?
Also; I wish these kind of things happened in europe, instead of labelling manga and anime childish wastes of time.

taiwan? im pretty sure that taiwan doesn't exist...they should just say People's Republic of China..
still, interesting material to distribute to government employees...
though there is a fight between the two so I don't think that mainland China would allow to include Taiwan in PRC
nice to know that there's proof that manga isn't all that useless in life as others think it is

And the people on this thread are the same that complain screeching that everyone else is unfair for calling anime and manga things for children. Look at yourselves.

Haha this is actually rather funny.
Because you read comic books about death, you will feel compassion for real dead people!
Yeah... not really.
Yeah, what are they thinking? Manga can't teach anybody anything! Same with any kind of book - just useless entertainment that never has any sort of message.
(It's opposite day, right?)
*gasp* I sure hope it's opposite day, else I'd have to..to..something. But yes you can learn from manga~ I didn't even know how to play Go until I got into Hikaru no Go.
But this is sort of lol. I guess this is for great...JUSTICE?
