Nah. The point is that we have an absolute oversaturation of Isekai and most of them are trash, which made this genre rather infamous and trashy.
Bro, you just described classic case of anime burnout. I know how it feels.
There was a time, when my standards were low enough to enjoy AI generated Isekai trash, but no more.

I don't understand why this is getting an anime. Started release in 2018 has 4 light novel volumes and hasn't had a release since Jan 2021. Almost 2.5 years between releases isn't a good sign.
As long as the LN is quite popular, they'll make an anime for it.
It just reminds me of The Hidden Dungeon only I Can Enter. Hasn't had a new volume since 2020. Got an anime and still hasn't gotten another volume. It also has a manga adaptation that's still getting released.
I can't speak to where the plot got to in the ln vs the manga but the original story of both of these was a novel posted online turned to a ln.

Ah, are you talking about this? Well, that can be said for most of the overly popular genres, so I got used to it even before isekai became a thing. For example, I still remember the maximum peak of CGDCT and harems (a real peak, not today's yuri fans complaining about every show where girls are interested in a guy and not in each other), and I just stopped responding to everything that is too weak even for my taste. Secondly, I'm just used to ignoring things that do not concern me in any way. If this does not concern me for some reason, then I simply will not even open news or discussions about it. For what? I've always found people annoying who create problems for themselves and then complain about them.
Pretty much this... This is why I don't come here that much anymore, Also, there was also the battle harem trend and how many "Infinite Stratos" clones they were. Isekai is just the internet hate punching bag and when something replace that they'll hate that trend. That said, I'm more tired of the complaints than I am with Isekai themselves, and I don't believe them cause I know they are gonna watch it anyway and they be surprised that it was bad. I don't bother with most isekais anymore unless I know I'm gonna like it or I read it's source material and liked it.

What do you have in mind? This isn't the first time they've complained about the Japanese enjoying trends they don't like, and I reply that it's not a problem.

Will you complain under every post with an announcement or news about isekais? Okay, we get it, no.
Actually, I'm surprised you still tolerate them.

An interesting complaint from someone who prefers mostly pointless fan service shows with a maximum emphasis on waifus. Yes, these are really risky and artistically unusual shows. I still think you should stop trying to pass off your tastes as something objective and just don't waste time on things you don't like.
i was gonna ignore you, since its never me quoting you, yet you're always responding to everything i say even when im not talking to you
congratulations on having an opinion about the anime that i like that is even more generic and repetitive than these kinds of shows are
fuck off lol
Just grow up and understand that you don't have to make excuses for your tastes. There is nothing wrong with that as long as you don't intentionally or not try to justify them by complaining that the industry doesn't satisfy them.

because the industry rarely wants to take risks anymore

because the industry rarely wants to take risks anymore
unfortunately they're becoming more and more concerned with playing it safe than whether or not anime fans want variety of ideas
it may take the industry collapsing as they say it slowly is, for them to realize they need to stop censoring and start embracing creativy again
this is what happens when shit becomes too mainstream
