The advance screening event of the Bleach: Sennen Kessen-hen (Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War) television anime revealed five additional cast, a second promo, and the opening and ending theme artists on Sunday.

The final arc adapting Tite Kubo's supernatural adventure manga will premiere on October 11 at 12:00 a.m. on TV Tokyo affiliates and BS TV Tokyo, followed by Sendai Broadcasting, Niigata Broadcast, and Hiroshima TV.

Cast
Hidetomo Kajoumaru: Wataru Hatano (One Punch Man)
Berenice Gabrielli: KENN (JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken Part 5: Ougon no Kaze)
Jerome Guizbatt: Takahiro Fujiwara (Boku no Hero Academia)
Asguiaro Ebern: Wataru Komada (Hypnosis Mic: Division Rap Battle - Rhyme Anima)
Luders Friegen: Daiki Hamano (SSSS.Dynazenon)

The opening theme "Scar"—will be performed by Tatsuya Kitani (Heion Sedai no Idaten-tachi)—previewed in the promotional video below. SennaRin is performing the ending theme "Saihate."

Tomohisa Taguchi (Akudama Drive) is helming the final arc at animation studio Pierrot, and also handling the series composition with Masaki Hiramatsu (Toriko script). Masashi Kudou (Bleach) and Shirou Sagisu (SSSS.Gridman) are returning as the character designer and music composer, respectively.

Kubo posted a pilot chapter in December 2000 prior to the series' serialization. Weekly Shounen Jump debuted the manga the following August. Kubo concluded the manga in August 2016 after a 15-year run. Shueisha published the 74th and final volume in November that year.

Next year, it will be a busy year for bleach. From author, staff, voice actor (sub and dub if their roles aren't changed from eps 1 until kujo ginjo arc) and bleach fans

Hopefully, they can make bleach better than before (especially compare with pierrot anime production)

wait, how it's gonna be 56 episodes (according to the info) but having 4 splits?
is that means every year gonna have 13 episodes instead of 20 episodes?
simple math people.

at max this could have 3 split-cour, with every part having 18 episodes. but 4??

i understand this is how anime is being made today. but this gonna annoy bleach fans rather than enjoying them lol

Ahhhhh, the new trailer was so good.

The split-cour thing is kind of annoying, but I don't see how it would hurt pacing.

This is such an ass-backwards take. Airing a show weekly at lower production quality IS THE HIGHEST FORM OF MILKING IT AS LONG AS POSSIBLE. Taking their time with the production (not the release) and separating it into 4 seasons will let them keep it of high quality and great pace.

Ya you have no idea what you are talking about. This is a direct adaptation of a FINISHED MANGA. There would be no filler at all. Instead of enjoying the entire story at once, we will be forced to take breaks in between each part. That kills the immersion of the story and makes the pacing feel painfully slow in an arc that already has terrible pacing. It will not be a good thing.
This is Bleach sir/ma'am (idk what you are) everything that you're saying here will most definitely NOT happen lol

Idk if you read this final arc, but them doing it as split cours is genius and will only build up anticipation and hype as it goes on PRECISELY because of how crazy things get during different parts of this arc lol. That and everything Narcopolo said about the production is big facts

I don't think you get just how long it takes to produce high quality action anime. Why do you think there are years between each season of Demon Slayer? Attack on Titan? JJK?

These are all popular titles that have been finished (or near finished) giving plenty of content to animate. It takes TIME to make good anime, it is not just a matter of source material.

It would be ridiculous to expect 56 (?) consecutive episodes of top notch animation consecutively. It also isn't more profitable to split it up into four parts. The only way splitting a show up ever is more profitable is if the time in between is used to make much higher quality content. Not sure what angle they would have in splitting it up to "milk it". That doesn't even make sense.

Edit: They are also adapting 206 chapters into 56 episodes which is a rate of roughly 4 chapters per episode being adapted. This is VERY HIGH comparatively to other series so the pacing should actually be really good. Hell, Kubo has even said he plans to add additional content that wasn't in the manga (not filler, just fleshing out parts he didn't have time to write in the manga) so it should be even faster paced than that rate.

Really? Split Cours? That is really annoying.

That is the one thing about modern day anime that is just terrible. They want to drag everything out and milk it as long as possible. How hard is it to do 4 cours continuously? FMAB did it no problem.

This pacing is going to be worse than the manga. All my hope for this series just got killed.

I like that this will be in 4 split cours as opposed to a continuous weekly run. It means higher production quality that mimics what we saw in the trailer and I think hype for the series getting revitilized with every subsequent cour, and Bleach deserves all of that for such an important anime for the series and its fans.

I was shocked out of my mind when I saw that SawaGOAT was involved with this....Bleach is coming for souls lol

Also I heard that it'll have 4 cours with a split in between each one, so I think that'll definitely help build more and more hype and anticipation as the arc goes on (Heard that the first 2 eps that they showed at NYCC was great too)

Accordng to Viz media the show will be simulcasted, it may turn out that it isn't gonna stream on Disney+ outside of Japan but maybe on Crunchyroll instead.
