is that means every year gonna have 13 episodes instead of 20 episodes?
simple math people.
at max this could have 3 split-cour, with every part having 18 episodes. but 4??
i understand this is how anime is being made today. but this gonna annoy bleach fans rather than enjoying them lol

The split-cour thing is kind of annoying, but I don't see how it would hurt pacing.

This is such an ass-backwards take. Airing a show weekly at lower production quality IS THE HIGHEST FORM OF MILKING IT AS LONG AS POSSIBLE. Taking their time with the production (not the release) and separating it into 4 seasons will let them keep it of high quality and great pace.
Ya you have no idea what you are talking about. This is a direct adaptation of a FINISHED MANGA. There would be no filler at all. Instead of enjoying the entire story at once, we will be forced to take breaks in between each part. That kills the immersion of the story and makes the pacing feel painfully slow in an arc that already has terrible pacing. It will not be a good thing.
Idk if you read this final arc, but them doing it as split cours is genius and will only build up anticipation and hype as it goes on PRECISELY because of how crazy things get during different parts of this arc lol. That and everything Narcopolo said about the production is big facts

I don't think you get just how long it takes to produce high quality action anime. Why do you think there are years between each season of Demon Slayer? Attack on Titan? JJK?
These are all popular titles that have been finished (or near finished) giving plenty of content to animate. It takes TIME to make good anime, it is not just a matter of source material.
It would be ridiculous to expect 56 (?) consecutive episodes of top notch animation consecutively. It also isn't more profitable to split it up into four parts. The only way splitting a show up ever is more profitable is if the time in between is used to make much higher quality content. Not sure what angle they would have in splitting it up to "milk it". That doesn't even make sense.
Edit: They are also adapting 206 chapters into 56 episodes which is a rate of roughly 4 chapters per episode being adapted. This is VERY HIGH comparatively to other series so the pacing should actually be really good. Hell, Kubo has even said he plans to add additional content that wasn't in the manga (not filler, just fleshing out parts he didn't have time to write in the manga) so it should be even faster paced than that rate.

Really? Split Cours? That is really annoying.
That is the one thing about modern day anime that is just terrible. They want to drag everything out and milk it as long as possible. How hard is it to do 4 cours continuously? FMAB did it no problem.
This pacing is going to be worse than the manga. All my hope for this series just got killed.

October would be faster!!! I really missed Ichigo, as it turned out
Same! I did not know how much I missed Bleach until the second trailer, and so happy it'll be four cours too.
trailers look and sound like a awersome return a good, but not forgotten friend :)))

Also I heard that it'll have 4 cours with a split in between each one, so I think that'll definitely help build more and more hype and anticipation as the arc goes on (Heard that the first 2 eps that they showed at NYCC was great too)

Urgh, I hate his post-Gundam Unicorn OSTs. Trashy ripoff of Hans Zimmer, a composer who has gotten trashy himself. Even though it's just a single track the Sawanokeks will be unbearable.
What in the hell are you talking about? Both Sawano and Zimmer were and still incredible composers.
t. Sawanokek who has absolutely no taste in music

Cours are specifically mentioned to be SPLIT. So most probably, a break after each cour
