'Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Bakuen wo!' Spin-off Light Novel Gets TV Anime

The Konosuba Channel Special Program livestream announced a television anime adaptation of Natsume Akatsuki's Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Bakuen wo! (Konosuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World!) spin-off light novel on Saturday. The event also revealed the main staff and a teaser visual (pictured).

Rie Takahashi and Aki Toyosaki are returning to star as Megumin and Yunyun, respectively.

Akatsuki penned the spin-off light novel from July 2014 to March 2019 and published in Kadokawa's The Sneaker Web magazine with illustrations by Kurone Mishima (Rokudenashi Majutsu Koushi to Akashic Records).

Kasumi Morino serialized a manga adaptation in Comic Alive between April 2016 and December 2017. A four-volume sequel manga ran from February 2018 to May 2020.

Yen Press licensed the light novel and the first manga in English and shipped the fifth and final volume of the light novel and its first manga adaptation last August and June 2020.

Synopsis
Crimson Magic Clan members Megumin and Yunyun are at the top of their class, but they still have a lot to learn. Yunyun's begun learning advanced magic, but Megumin has gone down a different path-the path of explosion magic! Despite being warned of its limited usefulness, Megumin believes explosion magic is the way for her to become a great, voluptuous wizard, and she won't be convinced otherwise! (Source: Yen Press)

Hoped they had produced it for main series to make a full adaptation, but guess they might even do it????
And since it had only 5 vol spanning across 30 chap so a full adaptation... maybe...
Although superrrrrrrr excited for it and more konosuba is always welcomed.

Nice. I've read a bit of the manga adaptation of this. It was okay. Was nice seeing Megumin and Yunyun before they met Kazuma and the others.
