'Wandance' Announces Main Cast, Director for Fall 2025
The official website for the television anime adaptation of Coffee's Wandance (Wondance) manga revealed the main cast, director, and teaser visual (pictured) on Wednesday. The anime is scheduled to premiere in October 2025.Voice actors Kouki Uchiyama (Horimiya) and Hina Youmiya (Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu) are starring as Kaboku Kotani and Hikari Wanda, respectively.
Michiya Katou (Kanashiki Debu Neko-chan, Beastars opening director) is directing the anime at Madhouse and Cyclone Graphics. Choreographer RIEHATA, known for her works with BTS and BoA, is credited as the dance producer.
Coffee began serializing the dance manga in Afternoon magazine in January 2019. Kodansha published the 13th volume on August 22.
Kodansha USA licensed the manga in English in July 2021 and released the 11th volume on November 12. The 12th volume is scheduled to go on sale on May 13.

@bearsday I think it depends on the budget and the importance that they will make to that songs. But maybe MADhouse could pull off something good

do they ever license music for anime or is it always original stuff? i'll be disappointed if they arent able to use the songs referenced in the manga cause there's some I really love in there. Hopefully it's good in either case though.
