@malvarez1 We have YouTube to thank for that. So many youtube grifters pumped so much propaganda about 'woke disney' into everyone's heads that a lot of people hate Star Wars now who haven't even seen any of it (it must be bad cuz this cool sounding bro on YT says so).
But of course the same grifters also hate the prequels... it's all a bunch of BS.

The Japanese Star Wars fanbase seems so much more chill than the American fanbase.

Anime and Star Wars come together, this should be interesting.

@Fabris i already mentioned imdb but it lacks the social part

Apr 23, 4:05 PM by deg

@deg Pal, you already have IMDB for that...whats the point of morphing this years long database into just another IMDB?

Disney be coping hard that their projects keep losing money.
Season 2 was a bust. Nobody cares about worldwide studios. Season 1 had some success because it was anime. Actual anime. Season 2? Pfft, maybe the Chinese and Korean shorts had some attention but even that's minuscule compared to Japan.
Goodbye Disney, and good riddance.

omg just pull the plug on starwars no one cares about this shit
also there are people in this thread that seriously with a straight face say Japanese the most culturally conservative people ever don't seperate western animation.
This just reads like retards who are sad that western animation got killed in the past decade and are now begrudgingly watching anime and hoping anime becomes more like western animation to appeal to their sensibilities.

@deg I don’t think that’s gonna happen. MAL is too inconsistent when it comes to categorizing stuff like this.

LMAO bruh come on man....

if its not what falls into what MOST of the world knows as anime, then thats nothing more than a personal issue 😂😂😂😂

Well, as long as 3 is closer in quality to 1 than 2, it should be fine. And The Ninth Jedi was the best episode for me so I'm actually interested in seeing what thay make out of it.

Apr 22, 3:25 PM by CaptainKenshiro

@EcchiGodMamster its just my personal wish considering to me anime is simply animation like in japan

but im not forcing this change i just happen to say it here considering volume 2 is missing which triggers my ocd tendencies

ye im sure a lot of japanese knows how western fans uses the word anime but they still gonna use the original meaning in their fandom

Yea, so its fine the way it is...I mean... NO ONE is on this site for "western" animation, so I don't think it matters how the term is used in Japan lol

And come on man, China and Korea have cultures "close enough" to Japan that i don't think many people have a problem calling their work that looks the style, "anime"

Apr 22, 11:18 AM by EcchiGodMamster

@EcchiGodMamster nah japans anime ranking puts hollywood animation as anime too

ye im sure a lot of japanese knows how western fans uses the word anime but they still gonna use the original meaning in their fandom

Apr 22, 10:08 AM by deg

@deg

Are you trolling him lol? Even many Japanese people nowadays know what westerners mean by "anime" lol

My suggestion : Remove Star War Visions entirely from the database

Apr 22, 7:40 AM by GoodBoy0069

I love how MAL has a weird ethno-purist fringe that starts scolding people the minute they suggest a title for the database..

Good studio picks, intriguing titles. I'm positive. I enjoyed the previous parts (volumes) of Star Wars: Visions, so I'm excited for the third one as well.
