one of the longest title ive seen

@Fabris

1. From my knowledge it is.
2. No he doesn't jump from level 1 to level 9999, he trains himself for about 3 years. His powers, outside of his army of Gacha, are legit. Outside of his army of level 9999, he summons 4 women with level 9999 and a bunch of guys going from level 3000 to 8000 (if my memory is correct) and a ton of stuff they use for their day to day life.
3. I don't really know how to answer that without spoilers, but considere there is (and I want to add that it's one of the strong point of the series : the mystery surrounding these characters).

@Fabris It just amazes me how often people criticize not so much the isekai trend itself, but the fact that the Japanese themselves like it, as if the Japanese are to blame for the fact that the animanga industry, in order to please them, does not do what Western fans want first and foremost.

@RobertBobert LOL

My only real complain here is he having the generic isekai/narou-kei protag face/Kiritoface.

For comical chars, like Cid or Krai, it makes sense...for others, cant you just give him a cool spiky hairdo, at least? It would make them more memorable.

"But people watch 4 the girls". Yeah, but Seiya from Cautious Hero and Kazuma from Konosuba proof that if your harem MC has a lot of personality himself, it uplifts the show by a lot.

To readers of the show, some basic questions:

1-lv9999 in this world is the cap, right?

2-Besides summoning those guys on lv9999, he ALSO jumps to lv9999 in a instant? Or at least farm a bit (10 seconds training footage not included)?

3-Any OTHER lv9999 besides his gacha party? Even if later on?

Side note: all those fukushuu isekais and narou-keis, yet no one will ever adapt Fukushuu o Koinegau, Nidome no Yuusha or Dungeon Seeker (def not the last one, short and ended almost a decade ago)...oh, pain. My fav style of edge, unfullfilled, forever.

"Hey man, did you see the latest episode of Backstabbed in a Backwater Dungeon: My Trusted Companions Tried to Kill Me, But Thanks to the Gift of an Unlimited Gacha I Got LVL 9999 Friends and Am Out For Revenge on My Former Party Members and the World?"

"I did, it was a pretty strong episode though I don't think it quite beat out episode 2 of Backstabbed in a Backwater Dungeon: My Trusted Companions Tried to Kill Me, But Thanks to the Gift of an Unlimited Gacha I Got LVL 9999 Friends and Am Out For Revenge on My Former Party Members and the World"

"Really? Episode 2? Everyone knows episode 5 of Backstabbed in a Backwater Dungeon: My Trusted Companions Tried to Kill Me, But Thanks to the Gift of an Unlimited Gacha I Got LVL 9999 Friends and Am Out For Revenge on My Former Party Members and the World is the best episode in the series"

"Well that's just your opinion. Still I'm enjoying the show a lot, I hope Backstabbed in a Backwater Dungeon: My Trusted Companions Tried to Kill Me, But Thanks to the Gift of an Unlimited Gacha I Got LVL 9999 Friends and Am Out For Revenge on My Former Party Members and the World gets renewed for a second season"

these long ass names have to be a marketing strategy, it can't be hard to make a name that's not 3 lines long

I'm contacting JC Staff to make it real, it'll be an original. Stay tuned.

2 premise is interesting.
3 script/screenplay by Oonogi Hiroshi who STARTED his career on Macross and i LOVE his work on Natsume's Book of Friends.
4 character designs by Suzuki Yukie whom i'm not as familiar with but i enjoyed their work on Moonlit Fantasy S1&2.

@kta_99 re-read the synopsis MAL put up for the ln/manga... there's a 3-year timeskip IN the synopsis. slap those years on him and he's at the tail-end of the shonen demographic at 15y/o.

Apr 17, 7:13 AM by KiliianSleipnir

@DGottem He actually is 12, according to the Wikipedia page. Which one would hope means the ecchi isn't that bad, but I doubt it.

Bruhhhhh I can never get used to these titles. This shit got me creasin LMAOOOO!

Apr 17, 3:47 AM by Attackonfiller

I got tired just reading the title lol xD

Apr 17, 3:46 AM by KitsuFrost

People still get surprised that the Japanese like isekai/generic fantasy or that they use titles to convey basic information about the story as a synopsis. But who am I to stop people from trying to make a comedic career out of making fun of it?
