Light Novel 'Level 1 dakedo Unique Skill de Saikyou desu' Gets TV Anime

Publisher Kodansha announced on Friday that a television anime adaptation of Nazuna Miki's Level 1 dakedo Unique Skill de Saikyou desu (My Unique Skill Makes Me OP even at Level 1) light novel is in production.

Miki began writing the fantasy novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in February 2017. Kodansha began publishing the series under its Ranobe Bunko imprint in August of the same year, featuring illustrations by Subachi. Kodansha shipped the seventh volume in November 2019.

Mawata began drawing a manga adaptation on the Suiyoubi no Sirius website on May 2018. Kodansha will ship the ninth volume on May 9. Kodansha USA licensed the manga in English in November 2020 and released the seventh volume on March 15.

The Level 1 dakedo Unique Skill de Saikyou desu series has a cumulative 1.1 million copies in circulation.

Synopsis
Ryouta Satou, who died from overworking at a black company, was reincarnated to another world. Although Ryouta was alive, he was now burdened with the inconvenience that his level is fixed to 1 in this new world. Although he wasn’t able to raise his level, he had a unique skill that can create a cheat-like item that shouldn't exist in the world from monsters. Knowing this, he maxed out his stats with the help of ability-up items, and he gathered a number of weapons and items that can only be used by himself, which made him have the strongest stats and gear despite being level 1. Some people seem to be getting the wrong idea about what this series is so i'll post here what i posted in the hype thread for this i made.
I'd describe it as a slow life isekai where the mc and friends dungeon delve for dinner or better lodgings, no save the world, no badass mc(though he does get strong over time, it's not really the premise), just slow life, the "unique" skill the mc has is 100% rare drop rate, aka he can get items others can't, which is great in this world but alot of the time it's things like getting really crisp cabbage or amazing carrots.

I'd have a lot more respect (still none, but a lot more) if they at least cut the word "unique" from the title. "Unique skills" aren't unique at this point, at least lampshade it.

The MC did that which is called "twinking" in a mmorpg. Get the best gear possible for a single level.

Might actually watch this one to see how it goes, even tho I'm not a fan of isekais.

well the synopsis is a bit misleading its more like this his skill isn't exactly a skill just that he has rank s drops from monsters and they drop things only he can use and the max stats thing happens slowly not from the beginning he is olso not that smart either

whell but as anime isekai its the first of its type i think because its a slow life type but he slowly grows from chapter to chapter instead of getting his power at the start its just the description of this is misleading just a bit

not exactly its more like he is a bit dumb or at least has average intelligence and well he does defeat monsters with strategys but they are simple usually
